Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Welcome to BrightSideoftheSun.com!

Welcome to Bright Side of the Sun!  This blog deals specifically with the Phoenix Suns and will report anything that happens with the team, the players, the front office and anything else I decide to put on the blog.

You may be coming from my former site.  Whether you're a former reader or a new reader - welcome to Bright Side of the Sun.  I'm glad to have you here and I hope you enjoy the things the content.

Who am I?  I'm Dan.  Oh, you mean "who" am I?  I'm just a guy who has lived in Phoenix and been a fan of the Phoenix Suns for the past 20 years.  I currently do web metrics and e-mail marketing for an Internet company.

Now that you're here you are probably wondering what you can expect.  Obviously you can expect a preview of each game before it happens and a review of the game when it is done.  I watch 90% of the games and will not only give you the stats from the Box Score but will also help you understand the feel of the game, what happened during the game and who the player of the game was.

I'll also give you little tidbits of information I find along the way.  I try not to be too much of a "homer" but would rather lean towards that than being a fair-weather fan.  If there's anything I don't like, it's a fair-weather fan - especially a Suns fair-weather fan.

I know I don't have a lot of links (over there to the right) in the NBA column.  If you've got a blog or know of a good NBA blog, send it on over and I'll take a look.  I didn't want to just copy what everyone else puts in their blogroll.  I'd like to link to the best blogs.

Any questions or comments?  E-mail me at sunsblogger@gmail.com.

No way...
If Gilbert drops 50 on the Suns, that'll be a sad day.  But it's happened before.  Sometimes the Suns let one player score as many points as he wants knowing that isn't a good way to win a game.  For an example, look at what the did to the Lakers in the playoffs last year.  When Kobe scored all the points, the Lakers lost the game.
