Suns Demolish Knicks

The New York Knicks didn't have a chance against the Phoenix Suns and I think the Knicks players knew it coming in.  It didn't even look like the players were trying to win - just to keep it close.

First of all, congratulations to Steve Nash for joining the 10,000 points/5,000 assists club.  He needed 5 points last night and scored 20.  Raja Bell also scored 20 points.

The Suns starters played well again although I would love to see some more offense out of Boris Diaw - he does seem to score when the Suns need it the most.  It seems that he defers to Amare Stoudemire when they are on the court together and Diaw still plays better with Amare on the bench.

Speaking of Amare Stoudemire, he had 11 points and 11 rebounds.  And he really needs to figure out how to stop getting 2 fouls in the first 5 minutes of the first quarter.  Last night it worked well for the Suns because Kurt Thomas really played well against his former team.  But most of the time, it is better to have Amare out on the court.

The Suns now head to Detroit for the last game of the year as they start a quick three game road trip.

Thoughts on the game?
