Game in quarters

Game one, we lost 3 of 4 quarters.  Can't do that against the Spurs.  They deserve the win because they took what we gave them, and made the most of it.  You have no idea how much this hurts to type, but its the truth.

Good news...
... is that they lost three of four quarters and played very below average but it was still a one point game with about 20 seconds to go.

I don't think they can play that poor and keep it that close again but let's hope they step it up and play a more "energized" game.

There is one thing...
I hope the Suns wake up. There is the thought that the reason the Suns didn't play well is because they were up against the best defense in the league. Personally, I think Nash was great, if he had made that second three point attempt, we'd be comparing this game to the nets classic potentially. Amare missed a lot of shots, and some free throws.

It hurts to say this, but Tim Duncan played like an mvp, and we can expect more of that. He hit shots when it mattered the most, and Amare did not. I'm hopeful though, Amare has had flashes of supreme greatness, and started out fantastic. I think the third foul (the mystery call) really hurt his aggressiveness, back on the old song of the refs...

Does not hurt me
Duncan was great, but so was Nash. Duncan got help from his team mates. Nash did not. That was the difference in the game.
