Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

No, Seriously, Matrix Wants A Trade

[Editor's Note: I share the sentiment. Even if Marion ends up staying, this is a sad day for the Suns and their fans.]

Well, then.

I guess we know how he feels now.

If this happens, then we can mourn the loss of Marion. And it will be a shame. He has been a great Sun, and I'm sure he'll be great for as long as he's here.

I would say that we should take this time to explore the positive possibilities of a trade, and what it means for the team. If he gets traded, then we can have a moment of mourning, as it were, for his moving on.

This is going to be a huge first test for Steve Kerr, it will be interesting to see how he handles it.

has anyone noticed...
It seems to me that there are a lot of nba players being vocal about wanting to leave....

I've had an hour for this to settle, and I've come up with this response...

This is a business, Marion has been getting paid to play the nba with cash (which, last time I checked was paid as promised through contract) not respect. This respect thing is really starting to bother me. Once again.. if this is a business, which it is, I think the boss has the right to talk trade talks with any team about any player, that's simply the way it should be, so for Marion to get all bent out of shape over this, tells me 2 things for sure.

One... Marion thinks he's the best player on the team, or at least deserves to be the highest paid, and deserves even more... (sounds like)

Two... Marion killed the deal which could've landed K.G., Amare, and Nash on the same team...

I say, send him to the Lakers, and he and Kobe can complain and bitch while we go on and win a championship, but... I need to say this... with Kobe eating better, and having lost 20 lbs or something, and Kobe already was great, I think the lakers will be tougher just because of his improvements in himself...
