Help me out, first game in Phoenix
Let me put all my cards on the table and say I am a life long Blazers fan living in the SW.
If you are still reading please let me in on the best way to get to games. I am hoping there is some sort of park and ride available, or maybe a rail system to the stadium. I am coming from Albuquerque so I dont really have a good way of figuring this stuff out.
Hope I see some of you at the game. I will be wearing a Martell Webster shirt and hoping that the Blazers can get a win.
Any advice on this would be helpful.

I'll help
Despite the fact that you are not a Suns fan I am glad to help.
There is plenty of parking nearby the stadium for decent prices. Just pay, park and walk to the stadium. There’s also plenty of places to go to get a drink before the game. I recommend Seamas Macaffrey’s on Monroe, or Coopers Town

Thanks for the info
looking forward to a good game. I am guessing that it is advantage suns, but I imagine it will be a great game to watch.

first game in Phx
“Stay the f*** away, RIP City-Pig. I’ve lived through Duckworth, Kersey, The Glide, and Porter killing us…and now Porter is our coach. Shove it.”
ok, now thats out of my system, welcome. I’m going to see the Phx/Por game on 11/1 solely due to the talent on the Blazer roster. You should be licking your chops for the future.
I recommend grabbing a couple machaca tacos at Tee Pee Tap Room, just south of Chase Field and well within walking distance of the Suns bldg.
I was so glad Brandon Medders was gone, until I heard he cleared waivers and went to Tucson. Damn.

Sorry
I really enjoyed those Kevin Johnson suns teams. My best friend in elementary school was all KJ and I was all Porter so we had some pretty tense, friendship testing, moments during the playoffs that poured over to our 1 on 1 games.
Thanks for the recs.

Rail
You are just a few weeks ahead of the light rail opening so as mentioned – plenty of down town area parking. Bus works as well.
