This is What I'm Saying About Raja Bell

I don't want to seem like a hater, because the 2005-2006 run was amazing.  But, it's over.  It's been over for a long time.  His three-point against the Clippers in Game 5 was what got me off the fence about buying season tickets.  His clothesline of Kobe was right up there with Majerle's dunk over Bol, Chambers plowing through Mark Jackson, Rex Chapman's fade-away three or whatever great moment Suns' fans cherish.

Stop hanging on.

It almost seems like Bell is pouting

Asked about sitting out the second quarter, he said, "No comment on that."

Then, he acts like he's a scoring machine:

"I tried worrying about what's a good shot and what's a bad shot in training camp, and that didn't work out too well for me," he said. "So I'm just going to shoot when I feel it's a good look and if that's not what he wants, he'll tell me."

He needs to accept that he's essentially a slightly-less-dirty (no flying side kicks to the head) Bruce Bowen.  When you're wide open, shoot the three from the corner.  Run on the breaks.  Other than that, focus on defense.  No contested jumpers, no pull-up jumpers, no curling off screens.  Just stop it.
