Die hard Suns fans and really anyone interested in basketball history cannot miss this in depth interview with Suns GREAT Alvan Adams via Suns.com.
Like many of you, I grew up watching the Oklahoma Kid run the floor with Westphal and Sweet D. More recent NBA and Suns fans should listen for the roots of D'Antoni's small ball system.
Alvan was a 6'9", 210lb center playing against the likes of Kareem.

I grew up watching Alvin, Truck, DJ, Nance, etc play. My dad met Alvin Adams on a plane ride and talked to him for most of the flight, this was back when he was playing. My dad said he was very smart, and a nice guy…cool stuff!
