More Haters
I don't know why people are frustrated seeing Nash play like "hummingbird trapped inside a sandwich bag".
I thought Shaq was the most entertaining dominate force ever?

nice link
good read, I really feel for Nash. I think he should be traded to a team that will take advantage of his ability. The way we’re using him is a crime, to not be using him I mean. I was warming up to porter, but on how to play Nash, I really disagree with him. Why’d the office go after dragic if all we need is a point guard to dump the ball inside.
Plus, this dump the ball inside would have better success if we had more than one big guy, but he’s not playing Lopez!! Amare will likely never be the post up guy, he likes slashing, running and dunking (kind of the opposite of what kerr and porter are trying to do).
The 2 things I really take from that article, among others
“It’s important to note that the Lakers’ defense has made the entire league look like ineffectual slugs this season”
That we’ll be good this year, but we’re not as good (or close) to the Lakers, and likely a few other teams…that detroit win is looking like fool’s gold, and I bought a truck load
“Still, watching Nash slog his way through the torpor of halfcourt sets that demand nothing more of him than an entry pass is painful. Worse, the slow-it-down exercise in Phoenix seems to be a sacrifice without a reward.”
Really, I heard PanamaSun sounding the alarms but am only now fully understanding what he already saw. This Suns team is throwing in the trash what Nash can do, I think Porter is in love with Shaq or something…
Could be strategy…are they smart enough / daring enough for this, to play shaq a lot, get him a lot of points and action, continually get him in better and better shape (seems to be happening but at what pace and result?), and then hang around until playoffs and unleash Nash and the fast break, and still have Shaq and the dump. To have multiple attacks in different styles (not players)….that could be really useful and something we haven’t had….but….as the article said, besides Bell, we really don’t have any great outside shooters to play with Nash (Q, Joe Johnson, Marion) all gone,
But, this was the lakers with (as the tv guys so well said) simply have more talent than any team in the league.

Porter wil kill this team
In two years, Shaq will be retired, Nash will be in Toronto, and Amare will be in…New York. You heard it. After the trades today, Knick fans are talking about getting LeBron AND Amare in 2010.
And we will have Porter or some other retread. Who knows, with the man crush Sarver has on Kerr, maybe Steve will have to take over to save his butt from his own mistakes.
Now you guys know what it’s like to be a Clippers fan.

Sarcasm
Although I tend not to agree with this.
Remember last year. We need more depth. We need more balance.
We simply CAN NOT afford to rely on Nash The Hummingbird for 35mpg anymore. Those days are done. A fact well proven last year.
The Suns MUST learn to play in the half court and be less dependent on Nash. It is painful and difficult and I agree that there’s been too much Shaq but still.. The Nash era is over and as painful as that is we can either adjust or get on the Chris Paul bandwagon.
This is the new Suns and we may end up like the Clippers but we aren’t there yet.
