Amare is blowing up!
21 points in the 1st Q!
But the Pacers can’t be stopped either – 38 – 27.

Barnes
Perhaps Barnes last minute departure has thrown the team for a loop

Definately
Everybody looked lost in those lineups, especially when Boris came on for Shaq.

Pretty sloppy first quarter
I don’t think anybody read their scouting reports, hopefully they know Murphy shoots 3s now.
Thank god we have our MVP.

wishing Dragic well
I can’t help but really, really, really want Dragic to hit every shot he takes. Not in the sense that it’ll be a couple of points for the Suns so much, but that he’s just a kid and I want him to succeed.
That probably doesn’t make any sense.

Lou's making the most out of his minutes
Hard screens, hands in the passing lane, couple of offensive rebounds, dude’s fighting out there.

jinxed him
Too bad he can’t make a lay-up

Nope
Boris came in and Amare slid to the 5, then Lou.

apparently playing well in the summer league is not a good sign
Bayless is not doind well either and other players that were not that good in the summer are doing great.

Shaq is gassed
Too bad he couldn’t get the whole game off.

I really wish I could watch this game...
…but I’m stuck at work. 4 point difference with 5 minutes left? Amare scoring half the Suns’ points? Wow.

Scoring screwup
So Amare’s being congratulated for getting a career-high 51 points after the game and then he’s told he only scored 49? Apparently, they gave 2 of Diaw’s points (on a dunk no less) to Amare by mistake. Sounds fishy to me, kind of like they waited to make the correction until Amare and the Suns thought he had a career high and then he didn’t take any more shots.

I think he was trying harder
To get a triple double then to get a career high. Sucks if it’s for real, but that game was sheer dominance nonetheless.

Defense
Showed up in the second half holding the Pacers to 29% FG and ZERO three’s

Defense
Pretty nice combination of offense (especially Amare – forget his points his 6 assists were awesome) and timely defense at the 2nd half. I guess Porter’s really hammering defense into the Suns heads. With such defense Suns should be able to survive games when their offense sputters. In the past we’ve seen games where theyre shooting really well for a major part of a game and come out losing or winning close when the other teams defense cranks up …. and the Suns start forcing shots

Lame
The Spurs were about to drop another to the Wolves but they refuse to whistle Duncan for his 6th. Hopefully they can still pull it out.

I'm curious
if the dunk in question (the one originally credited to STAT that went to Diaw) was on that broken play where Nash got a loose ball and lobbed an alley oop from 35 feet. Diaw actually caught it and did a reverse slam, and I figure it might’ve baffled the scorers so much they gave it to Amare instead.

That's exactly what happened
I read that somewhere last night. Boris joked about it actually that the score keeper (or anyone) isn’t used to seeing him do that.
JSun made a great point that Boris has a fantastic game which was obviously overshadowed by Amare but still was exactly what we want for Diaw. Overall – he’s having a great year so far.
LB is the only one that is still really struggling.
