Grant Hill for Reddick?

Hill to Orlando?

Star-divide

Please say it isn't so.  this report says Hill can be going to Orlando for JJ Reddick.  Basically Reddick is a shooter who can't defend or pass.  Think Nash without PG skills.

I don't like it.  Thoughts?

Perhaps management is thinking Hill is redundant with Barnes here  and Tucker coming back.  Arent we gambling a lot that Tucker will help?  all he has is a good off season.

It sucks.

Reddick is overrated. I don’t like it. Hill may not be what he was in his Detroit days, but I think he still has more than Reddick. It sucks, and we get hosed if this trade goes down.

it would be an insult to grant hill

having him sign a veterans minimum, when other teams would not hesitate to offer him more, and then just to trade him away. :( they say basketball is a business, but this is kinda low if they trade hill.

Nor Cal

Up in Northern Cal, one of the AM radio guys is Tom Tolber (if you remember him from his NBA days during the ‘90s). The topic of Orlando and Reddick came up just a few days ago. His point was that Reddick can flat out shoot it from anywhere but that’s about it. In college if you have one skill and are dang good at it, you can be a star, but in the NBA it’s a different story. You have to have more than one good skill to be a player.

Besides, Orlando hasn’t been that good for that long – if Redding had something, he’d have seen some playing time by now. This would be a very bad trade, in my opinion.
