The same tipster that had the JRich trade rumor early is reporting that the Suns will pick Dee Brown if they can agree on terms.

Nice pick Suns. Solid NBA role player.

Word is that Jordan Farmar needs surgery, and the La*ers need to find a point guard “with speed and quickness” to spell Fisher. I hope that doesn’t make a negative impact on our PG hunt.

Bummer

I was figuring they are using the two available ten day contracts to try and sign Pargo, who we know Kerr likes.

Pargo wants what he’s worth, and if Batboy (Farmar) is out for surgery, the Lakers can pay him more, while we’re stuck trying to convince people to play for the minimum.

Bummer.

Hope not

If Pargo goes to LA….well that’s just not right.

Barbosa...........

I think the jRich, barbosa backcourt with Nash out the game has been pretty successful and they seem to have some chemistry. I figure the back up point guard isn’t going to play a whole lot and I like the insurance if Nash goes down, but I hope Barbosa doesn’t get too many more minutes taken away.

TP has stated he’s not comfortable with Barbosa at the point-it’s not ideal for anyone..I think he’ll continue to get first look at backup until it’s clear he cannot handle it. With Shaq and he on the floor, Barbosa always has a go to guy. ..But Barbosa is best as a wing getting set up for 3’s. I don’t want to trade him, but I don’t think we’re maximizing his value the way things are going. And Hill could be injured at any time, no? So it’s best to have the insurance now.
