I'm from GSOM and i have a question about Diaw?

Did Suns Fans like Boris and if so would you recommend the Warriors aquire Boris. Boris seems to be a great passer and solid rebounder. However he seemed passive in games after the 05/06 season. What are your favorite moments of him and why would you recommend or not recommend him. On the Diaw point how are Suns Fans loving J Rich and are you happy with the trade. Warrior Fans love J Rich . We would trade  alot of our players for him.seventy five words words words words words words words words seventy five words words words words

Diaw would be a good fit in GS

You guys seriously need a front line and Diaw is a great fit for your system. He’s been there before.

Personally, I am a fan of Le Boris. He is a very skilled player. As good as you can get and not be an all star. He’ll never be a team leader and his fire is questionable but I would take him over Lamar Odom who has similar issues.

Boris did not fit well w/ Amare although there were moments when he ran a three man game w/ Amare and Nash that was a thing of beauty. I think mostly though he just suffered from not enough balls to go around syndrome. He was not man enough to take Amare’s balls so that left few for him.

I think for the most part he handled is well and did a LOT of little things to help the team win.

He’s a very fundamentally sound player and an underrated defender. He plays solid position post D against guys much bigger then him and he’s quick and smart enough to cover guys on the wing as well. There’s very few players that bring as much to the table as Boris.

I frankly and happy for him that he can now get the kind of starters minutes he deserves. I think playing w/ Biedrins and Ellis and S-Jax (if he stays) would be nice. Besides, you guys are stuck w/ two undersized twins in Randolf and Wright that aren’t going anywhere fast.

I don’t see how you could possibly get him but if you could…

Le Boris has the capacity to be very good, but not very great

He’s talented, but he doesn’t care enough. He can do well, but he won’t be a serious winner.

He’s just not as passionate on the court as he is with the girlies.

Everything must go.

Yup - agreed

but he’s still good enough to start for most teams and for GSW would be a good fit.

I don’t know if he’s better overall then Al Harrington though. I am not sure I understand that trade from a Warrior perspective other then AH and Nellie were feuding over something. I guess if I cared enough I would check out GSOM but…well that Warrior are like 8 and 20 or something so really its hard to care.

Diaw is good

Despite what what most Suns fans think, I think Diaw is prettty good. It’s not too much of a reach to say that this year he was our best defender and post player (although Shaq tears it up from time to time). I think he can still be a top three player on a team, but he has to be the top dog in the post. He would be a great fit alongside someone like Biedrins. Paying Diaw ad Biedrins $20 mil a year isn’t bad at all, though it looks like too much as I type it.

most suns "fans".

i think most of the people who follow the suns closely, watch close to every game, etc. would say that diaw is a good player.

lest we forget the 2005-2006 season: 13.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game, with 52% FG. not too shabby. given, that’s not exactly all-star material, but if you can find another PF out there (with capability to play C) that can average that high of an assist count, i’d be impressed.

diaw isn’t a fantastic player, but he’s smart enough to know what he’s on the court to do. that’s something i think golden state could use.
