New NBA and Phoenix fan has question
Hey Suns blog,
I am a recent NBA fan. Phoenix is my team. Being Canadian, Steve Nash is why I got interested in the game. I still have lots to learn about strategy and the players and teams.
Nash is fantastic but is not known a strong defensive player. In the Christmas game against the Spurs why was he on the floor with 4 seconds left and the Spurs in possession? Would not Barbosa or someone else have been a better defender at this point?

Welcome and
good question. In fact JSun raised the exact same issue on the latest podcast.
We didn’t have an answer. It didn’t seem to make sense although Barnes would have been a better choice then LB.

Welcome fellow Canadian.
I’m one too. A Canadian and a Nash fan too. From Nash’s hometown, and the Suns are definetly one of my teams. Again welcome.

Just in case I would like to let you know I devoted a blog to the Suns and Steve Nash.
It’s called the Sons of Steve Nash…to honour our spiritual basketball father.
