re: goran dragic.

i still think it’s too early to say “whatever, he’s a terrible player and shouldn’t deserve any playing time”. the suns front office have had a knack for generally drafting quality players (keeping them was the problem), and i expect the dragic that our scouting agents saw to show up sometime this season.

keep in mind, the kid is playing a new game (from euroball to NBA is a bit of a shift), while trying to deal with the pressure of being “the next nash”. i’d like to see any of you go out there with those implications and succeed right off the bat.

another thing to note is: have you seen the suns lately? none of them are playing extremely well and/or consistently (minus hill/barnes/shaq). not just dragic/singletary.

It's not as if they're told to do much.

All Porter does is tell Singletary to walk the ball up the court and dump it off to Hill or Diaw. Of course, at least he’s getting his 4-5 minutes per game.
If Porter isn’t gonna play Dragic, he needs to be in the D-League instead of looking forlorn at the end of bench.

Maybe Porter’s looking over his shoulder now what with all the recent firings, but Singletary and Dragic need playing time (maybe one of them in the D-League), be allowed to make meaningful plays, and make rookie mistakes.

Do you have

a youtube? Apparently that’s all it takes to get the notice of the scouts.

You know what...

That’s a great idea!
It’s not like I got a lot of competition, Goran and Sean are not playing well and Steve Kerr is the right guy when it comes down to making awful deals… so I might have a chance.
