Well I just got back from a party.  And being that I am in LA quite a few Lakers fans felt like talking shit and building up the Lakers playoffs chances.

Quite frankly i'm worried.  With Bynum, Pau and Kobe  playing this Laker team has the potential of being deadly.  Now maybe that's just me succumbing to hundreds of Laker maniacs blabbering about the glory of their team, but it's hard not to worry.

All that matters now for the Suns is how they'll respond after the All Star break.  Will Shaq be atleast ok?  Will Diaw continue to improve?  Will the Suns improve against western opponents?

All these questions and more will be answered in the last half of the season.  And with that we shall know for certain if we truly need to fear the Lakers, or any other west team, in the playoffs.
