Favorite In-game Suns Moments

So, with a bit of the nostalgia that was brought up about Ceballos and Dumas in another thread, I thought I'd post one of my favorite in game moments. The first one that came to mind was Kevin Johnson's dunk over Hakeem Olajuwan.

Then I came accross this one, too. It was pretty good. I love how he rides Williams down, lol.

and poor 7'4" Mark Eaton. HA!

Anyhow, enjoy! And feel free to post some of your favorites, too (video not necessary)

Gotta include Chambers over Jackson
This one was before my time as an NBA fan, and it's still my favorite Suns highlight:

I loved what Mark Jackson said about being on the receiving end of that poster during last season's 2OT classic with New Jersey:

"In life, sometimes you're the pigeon, and sometimes you're the statue."

...yep, he was definitely the statue that day....

Favorite Moments
Gotta agree with both of your choices KJ7 and TexSUN.  And this is a great "diary" entry.  Nice to see some positives.

My contribution?  Rex Chapman hitting a huge, one-footed, one-eye closed, one-footed turn around 3 point jump shot against the Shawn Kemp/Gary Payton Sonics.  We went on to lose the game (and the playoff series), but I'll never forget this moment.

(Sorry for the lousy video quality, but it's the best I could find.)

Favorite plays
One of my faves, (even though I freely citicize Charles) was the time in the Finals when he inbounded off of Horace Grant's butt, then grabbed the ball and dunked before poor Horace knew what hit him.

Off topic, but that wicked behind the back and through the legs move last night by Brandon Roy has to rank up there although not for the Suns.

And of course Barkley pulling the chair out from Shaq as he fell on his keister in a Suns-Magic game has to rank high.

I guess you can tell I'm a 'hidden ball trick' kind of guy, as opposed to straight dunks and blocks.  Although I have a graphic of Amare stuffing a Dwight Howard dunk on my cubicle wall at work.

My all time favorite was, of course, displayed in a thread here a few months back.  It didn't feature a Suns player, but iot was the classic 8 second goof by the alien in the 06 playoffs.

A more recent moment that resonates with me.

two of my all time favorites, which coincidentally both come against the Spurs...

and...

I wish i could find a longer clip of that last one, especially when Duncan looks all cocky after grabbing the offense rebound and gets fouled, only to miss 2 freethrows and watch Stephon hit the winner

Another one of my favorites
Steve Nash shows Mark Cuban why letting him walk away for nothing was a very, very bad idea:

Sweet vindication!

Suns/Mavericks 3-14-07
The entire game.  I've never had unwavering faith in any sports team my entire life.  That all changed when the Suns came back from a large deficit to force two overtimes and win the regular season game of the year.

I'll always remember Steve missing a three to force overtime only to have Matrix grab the offensive board, kick it to Steve who sank the second attempt.

One of my best memories, period.

awesome!
Thanks for sharing those moments, guys! Wow, I had completely forgot about that Chapman game winner - that has to be one of the best last second shots I've ever seen over the last 15 years I've been watching the NBA.

Also, gotta give a little props to Marc Jackson for not collapsing when Chambers got him in the chest with that dunk, lol. He was a tough little bugger!

Sweet moments, all of them. Keep 'em coming boys! We need some more Suns-love!

Without question...
the greatest Suns moment has to be the KJ dunk on Hakeem. I still have no idea why this dunk is so overlooked and under appreciated, especially when there are crappier dunks that are rated higher than that, simply because of who the dunker is. That dunk was not just a facial, but it was a guy who was 6'1" point guard, dunking on the 7 '1" all time leading shot blocker, and he did it to him in his MVP season, and in the playoffs. Talk about degree of difficulty. I still can't believe it was ranked #14 on Best Damn, you gotta be kidding me. Those guys should lose the word "Best" from "Best Damn Sports Show Period," and just be called "Damn Sports Show."

Here's another great moment...
now this may not be something that directly occurred from a member of the Suns, but it sure was inspired by one, and also some grass, and other drugs. This is why you either love or hate Bill Walton. I for one love his off the wall, out in left field, sometimes hooorrrrrible commentary. But this is hilarious.

Walton
Man, where does he come up with this nonsense? You'd think he spent a career as a prize fighter who now spends his golden years babbling as a result of all the hits he's taken. Lol, Seriously! A few weeks ago, Gambo and Ash "interviewed" him for about 15-20 mins. Really, it was more of a monologue of Walton going in all sorts of directions that made oh-so-little sense. I think I was just shaking my head and laughing the whole time!

"interview"
Ah, here's the link from KTAR, enjoy! Good info on the Meteor Crater up north, lol!

Ah, the good old days...
...when Boris Diaw was good enough to inspire ridiculous, overly-effusive Walton monologues, and the Suns still "owned" the Lakers. Sigh.
