ESPN Poll

No respect

Star-divide

From ESPN's Daily Dime...

The Suns are 2 and a half games out of first place in the west and have a better record than Utah, yet ESPN apparently thinks we are not even contenders for the west title anymore. Where's the respect?

To be fair
only 9% of visitors to a Suns fan site - this one - believe that the Suns will win the West.

So, I can't say as I blame ESPN.

At least right now. That could and hopefully will change in two weeks if the team picks it up and shows alot more then they have since the trade.

Yuppers

They just took the top four teams in the standings, although Utah has a lower winning percentage than PHX and HOU and the same DAL.

Indeed

the suns have really gotten way too much press and respect for the last 3 years.

I'm fine with us sharing the spotlight.

Let them have..
The spotlight. It was fun when we were all over the newspapers for the right reasons but that didn't seem to help in the playoffs right? It just made those early exits even more difficult to swallow.

All I can say is that I HOPE that this team can pick it up at the right time and that they can show everyone that what they had was just a Playoffs hang over. That they were waiting for the playoffs to have the energy level that's supposed to be there every night. Cause that's when it matters.... the most.

Get under the radar
I'd like for the press to shift focus to other teams at this point.  Shift focus away from Shaq and the Shaq-era hype.  Put the spotlight on the Spurs for once instead, since they never have to deal with it.  Might take them off their game.

ESPN
That's ot a lack of respect.  It's more like SHOW ME!  The Suns haven't shown anything other than the Celtics game.

It's beginning to look like either the Lakers or the Spurs.  If the Lakers can re-integrate Bynum, they'll win.

Unless of course the Rockets never lose again.  But they're doing it with mirrors without Yao, aren't they?

I'm fine
with Utah being on the list since they did get pretty far last year.
