2 Extra Points?

Am I crazy or did the Warriors get two extra points in that last  Suns/Warriors game? There was a Warriors play where it was hard to tell if the ball went in or not (don't think it did) and the ball appeared to go out of bounds.  Warriors had 66 points at the moment.  Gary Bender announced that it didn't go in and would have sucked if it had, or something to that effect.  Then we got a close up of Azubuike looking dejected after the play, walking back down the court.  Suns got the ball, presumably because it went out of bounds, not because it went through the hoop.  Then on the way down the court, the Warriors score changed to 68.  Maybe they called a goal tend? The point is, Gary said there was no basket, but they got the points.  I'm sure there is a logical explanation but it killed me every time I thought it was going to end up being a 2 point game.  Of course, it turned out not to matter in the end...  Anyone else see that?
