Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Suns Win in 5

Let's make this our open thead for all trash talk for the day...there's plenty more to come!!!...if you can't tell I am stoked about this series!!

It is the match-up that we wanted.

And we're going to get it.  For anyone interested, I'm doing "Suns-only" coverage over at HoopsVibe.com

Here is the first

It'll be a lot of homerism so I expect some heated (and sometimes un-civil) debates.

Update [2008-4-17 13:30:20 by Phoenix Stan]:

Here's a little playoff preview I did as part of HP's series of playoff previews. Stay tuned for another specific to the Spurs series on Skeet's BDL.

Suns win in 6
With Bruce Bowen out of game 5 because he's ugly, and Parker out because he's french! :)

Suns in 7.

Props to the other 3 like-minded peeps.  You are in good company.  =)

Mark my words
Unless we stop them, David Stern and Stu Jackson will steal this one from us again.

Sure enough
The excuses are starting already...

No excuses, just a call to arms.
There will be no excuses, and no quarter given.
If you don't think David Stern loves the Spurs, then I have two words for you: "Joey Crawford"

BOO-YAH!!!
What do you say to that 'chosen ones'? (or should i say 'former chosen ones')

Laughing
Why wasn't the ref who ejected Raja for laughing banned for the rest of the season?
Mmmmm ... Guinness

At the very least..
Bruce Bowen should be doing time in Maricopa County, under Joe Arpaio's careful watch, being forced to wear pink underwear and eat green spam.

I think he is
Indeed using a pink underwear. Despite all that macho crap about being a dirty player, Bowen is a big girly GIRL. :)

One word...
KARMA.. what goes around comes around. The stars and planets are lined up and we shall get our revenge! Ok, enough with the astrological references. Can't wait for this series to start. It's gonna be a lot of fun.

GO SUNS!
They can't let all the hype and hooplah get to them... Just take care of business. The Suns KNOW and BELIEVE they can do it now.

Suns Rivalries
This postseason is gonna be like a Phoenix Suns Rivalry Tour.  First the Spurs, then the Mavs, then the Lakers (my predictions).  That's a tough route to take, but it doesn't get any better for Phoenix fans :)

by WildYams on Apr 17, 2008 3:23 PM MDT reply actions

Unless they lose to one of the three
Then theres nothing worse then losing to a rival. Lakers will be ready in the WCF, and that will be the highlight of the whole playoffs.

Suns-Lakers
It's way early to be talking about this (especially with the Spurs in the immediate foreground), but I have serious doubts that the Lakers can beat Phoenix unless Andrew Bynum makes a miraculous recovery and plays well for them.  The Suns have too much size for anyone in the West, IMO.  I think Boston and/or Detroit pose a much bigger threat.  Time will tell though.

That's talk for next month though.  Right now it's all about San Antonio and Phoenix looking for some revenge.

Fantastic!

I can't think of anything better!

Taking
I'll Take Phoenix in 7, in possibly the best first round playoffs matchup ever! Well, the best I will have seen in my lifetime anyway.
