i hate tony parker
im pretty sure he said “this one’s for you, my love.” does that man really have to flaunt his wife at us right after this loss?

We are in a hole..
Deep one actually…

i love the suns
but whatever they’re saying to the players at half time isn’t working!!
I think Amare and shaq were afraid to help nash out with parker…still thinking about the last game and fouling out, etc. The suns have dug themselves a hole, just like last year and barbosa and diaw have disappeared. Amare missed more short shots in the thrid quarter than I have teeth (ok, I don’t have 32),
I’ll say this but I don’t want to, if it takes being down by 15 points for this suns team to wake up, we’re in it deep!
7 for 14 from ff line, I’d say hack a shaq worked.
Plus, I thought we were going to run the offense through a few people with bowen hacking nash all night long, didn’t look like we did that tonight

No Hill
that really limited the options on both ends….I think Coach showed way too much trust in LB and Diaw. Should have given more minutes to GG instead of LB

I agree
GG would have played better, I believe Grant only had one attempt. He is not helping at all. LB is completely off, he is missing lay ups, three balls, you name it!
By the way, the Spurs Troll is really getting on my nerves.

yep, giri is intense and a great creator on offense
L.B. is often out of control and has to miss 2 layups (quota) before he is allowed to make one
(it’s Brazilian rule 233 right after chase all blonds and french rule 1, have no heart on the court because your getting paid and laid).. The suns just aren’t hungry enough, the spurs have won @#$% times and they play like it means the world to them to win. Tonight sucks Where’s a bridge so I can push my suns team off of it in a little toy car…..ok…I’m ok….2 home games…...come on Suns! Can we skip the 3rd Q next game?

hmmm.... maybe put little toy spur figures into a toy car
and set it on fire and throw it off a bridge, then eat it, then feed it to the dogs….alright, sorry, don’t want to get the dogs sick….seriously, the suns need to do something different, I’d shave my head if I was nash, or maybe where shoes that actually have garbage coming off of them and onto the floor….

Well, it's like they say
A series doesn’t start until someone loses on their home floor. SA just turned the pressure up on us.
Let’s hope the boys respond.

Predicting the Suns post game comments
Here’s what I am expecting the spin to be:
We really missed Grant on both ends
We just missed our shots in the third
We played well enough to win

Fukin Sigh
Ladies and Gentlemen I’m afraid that I’m going to tune out this blog and the Suns for the rest of this week. These games are just pissing me off way too damned much right now. Hell, I’m convinced that if we were actually closing out our damned games that we would be leading this series 2-0. In fact after tonights game I’m quite literally convinced that the Suns as an organization are somehow cursed. Thus to purge this terrible thought from my mind I’m going to take a week long vacation from the Suns.
God Speed Suns Friends!

Im thinking if doing the same thing..
But I can bet ya that both of us will be watching on friday. =(
Could it be that Steve Nash is a serial killer and that´s why the basketball Gods are pissed and not letting the Suns win?? Man I´m running out of stories here!
We came back from 3-1 against the lakers but… I´m not holding my breath on this one.

who will be drinking
themselves into a stupor tonight? i would but i unfortunately have NO ALCOHOL! but i’m just too depressed to move from where i am.
Why is it so agonizing being a suns fan?
I just finished reading the Alchemist… there’s a recurring theme of where: “when you want something with all your heart, the universe conspires to help you achieve it”
so why?
why is it conspiring against this team?
why is it that year, after year, after year the universe conspires against this team?
what did they do that was so HORRIBLE that the ENTIRE universe is seemingly conspires against them?
that tingly feeling? it isn't my spidey sense sensing danger... it means it's the playoffs, baby!

Before I sign off for a week
I’ve tried to find a video to sum up how I and many others feel after this game. I was looking for a certain scene in particular from All Quiet on the Western Front where Paul, after all his freinds had died, tries to reach out and touch a butterfly that landed in No-Mans-Land only to be shot by a French sniper. It just seems like no matter how hard the Suns fight for that goal (peace in the movie) that it just ends up being taken away from them (sniper).
Well miracles have happened in first round series for us, but it just seems like we are really and truly cursed. Damn I need a drink. I’ll look for that clip again.

OK
no dice on the scene I guess, unless someone wants to edit the one on youtube and post it. Too depressing though, probably better not to. BTW it would be a good idea avoiding really depressing movies tonight like All Quiet on the Western Front, especially Grave of the Fireflies

Yeah you are right
It’s just that after so many years of the Spurs friggen crushing our hopes that these two loses almost seem to portend the worse.
Oh God how I want to beat the damned Spurs
