CMoney,
thanks. Let me ask you, what happened to S.A.’s offense, you guys were killing us the game before.
With us, it’s normally about energy and Nash/Amare. But for us to get big games from bell, diaw, and barbosa finally, that was nice. To be more specific, why do you think S.A. will win Tuesday after seeing todays game….just some friendly chat…good luck Tuesday.

We have a history...
Of getting blown out once during the playoffs. Glad this is out of the way. But you bring up a good question. Game 3 was all about Tony Parker. The Suns set out to stop the penetration and they were successful at doing that. What killed you guys was that Tony couldn’t miss a jumper. I can’t see any team beating us when Tony shoots like that. Today’s game was much different. The suns came out and played for pride. Although our O struggled in the first. The Suns just out played the Spurs pure and simple. The suns were hustling for lose balls and Bell was shooting lights out.
In regards to Tuesday, I imagine that we do more of the same. Today, we were still able to get the shots that we wanted and actually penetrated better than we did on Friday. I don’t see Bell, Diaw and Barbosa going off again like they did today. Seriously though, did any Suns fan see Amare only score 7 pts? Your role players stepped up at the right time. I would be more concerned if Amare had read Mike’s Staring at the Suns post. Because today, he certainly did not “Lead. This. Team.” I literally shutter at the thought of what Pop could teach that boy. Add some defense to his game and Mike would be reduced to writing Thank you notes to Amare.

nice thoughts..
on amare and pop, your assuming amare could learn…., I shouldn’t say that though…it’s weird with Amare. If he could rebound like Dwight Howard, Amare would be a very, very strong candidate for mvp instead of an mvp afterthought. But, now that he’s not having to play center, his offense next year should be a lot of fun to watch.
On your points on Bell, Diaw, and LB. I think I agree, I’d be very surprised to see them shoot and play that well again on Tuesday. On Amare, I’m not too worried about him, 3 for 11, not good, but it’s not the same as 3 for 20 or something

You’re right, 3 for 11 is It’s not as bad as 3-20. But when you shoot 3-11 in a win or go home game….at home…. Ouch. I really didn’t expect that from him. It looks like someone spent yesterday packing their bags and booking a fishing trip for Monday. He’s probably pissed at Bell, Diaw and LB for delaying his vacation.

Gladly...
If Stoudemire added some defense, I would gladly write those thank you notes. But since that’s not going to happen between now and Tuesday, I’m “reduced” to calling him out for some offensive leadership. Bummer, eh?

Yeah it is a bummer
Especially, since I enjoy reading your writings. You should drop by PTR more often and give us a critics perspective of the Spurs.

hey MSF,
ON MODERATING, I think after ten people are approved, the software should be closed for entry but not reading, just too many people on it. I moderated the first game and barely saw much of it. If I had gone with the approach of approving 9 suns fan and 1 s.a. fan or even 8 and 2, then I could’ve just watched and enjoyed the game more, and still been able to blog.
Your thoughts on your experience?

I find it
impossible to moderate comments, live blog and watch the game at all. I think we need to explore finding a different software for live unmoderated chat along side the live blog. I think there are people that want to read the live blog and the occassional comment and others that want the live chat. This software is really only designed for the live blog/limited comment model.
I have done some searching for chat software but haven’t yet stumbled upon anything I like. Anyone have any suggestions?

Moderating
I think closing it for entry at any point is too unfair. I may need to close commenting at times during the game though.
