Ironically, Spurs fans seem more upset by Avery's firing than Mavs fans. Now, what coach wants to work for the meddlesome owner?

No AJ in AZ

As much as I want a change I DO NOT want to see the little General and his madness here….calm, mature experienced and firm is what I am looking for in the next head coach….

Avery is a damn good coach with a .735 winning percentage. He played and studied under Popovich and led us to a championship. I would hate to see him become a Sun too.

I will never forget him losing a shoe on the court in the 2005 playoffs

As much as I love Avery...

He would just be a quick fix to your defensive woes, and all the other baggage that the coach with three first names has and which frustrates you over ledge, Avery would also bring to you should he end up here (lack of bench, or use of it in crucial times, swings on the oldies, his way or the highway mentality)

Sure if we got Mike, the Dallas offense would improve, but we’d gripe about all the other issues that both of these coaches have. Same with you guys, if you got Avery, the defense might improve, but then be prepared to run ISO plays every DAMN time in the half court. That means no more pick n rolls with Nash and Amare, cuz Avery and Mike dont change for their players, their players change for him. Mike tried to get Snaq to run more, and it didnt work… and Avery tried to get Dirk to be TD, and it didnt work. Now they both probably helped these guys become better players in some areas, but were they used to their fullest abilities?? I dont think so IMHO.

Removed from FP

Having Avery and Cuban on the front page was just too annoying first thing in the morning…
