Now that the Suns are out and the draft pick is locked in, I say we all give a shout out to a very talented and deserving former Sun, Joe Johnson.

With that 20 point quarter and the pressure 3 last night, JJ finally has arrived, after 3 years of losing. This may be short lived, with game 7 tomorrow, but I sincerely hope JJ can somehow marshall his young guys to victory. I have said the season is over, and the fraft is the only thing I am concerned about, but if JJ should lead his team to victory in Boston, I will watch all the Cleveland-Atlanta games and root for the Hawks like I'd be rooting for the Suns had they not lost.

JJ deserves it. But I still hate the HAWKS for:

(1) Stealing JJ and bidding $70MM on him
(2) Getting 3rd instead of 4th in last year’s draft
(2) Getting 15th instead of 11th+chance at the lotto this year.

The whole thing was set up by Sarver. I don’t remember which GM did it (BC?), but that pick should not have been lottery protected last year. I can’t blame the Hawks for that.
