Is Corndogg really a rep for RU?

Or just some poster from somewhere else posting on RU?

Wondering what the skip-2-my-loo to do next with my empty summer

He is

He is / was Matt’s co-author of Hardwood Paroxysm. He also is/was a big Suns fan.

Oh, and he also is in Chapel Hill

RU is just R

I am not a fan of that kind of writing. It is not much different than Shaq describing how Kobe lick certain parts of his anatomy. As far as I can tell, they should drop the Upside and just name themselves the Ridiculous.

A lot of their writing IS good...

Their coverage of the D-League and Euro prospects is among the most comprehensive in the blogosphere. Who else liveblogs the D-League playoffs? And generally I find Matt and Corndogg’s stuff pretty entertaining. I think they, like many other NBA bloggers are among the bitter bandwagoners clinging to guns and D’Antoni who are having a hard time accepting that the Suns next year will be “just another team” instead of 7SOL revolutionaries (full post on this topic coming very shortly).

I get it. It’s like Dylan going electric, or the Beatles going to India (hyperbole much?). But with any luck, like those examples it leads to a richer, fuller experience. One that includes defense and a 10-man rotation. OK, gotta get to work on that post before I write it all in the comments here.

Point being, don’t let their wrongheadedness on this one issue color your opinion of all their work.

It's okay to greive for 7SOL.

7SOL was a masterpiece, not some hairbrained Nellie scheme for misfit ballers.

It was legitimate basketball executed by an incredible team.

Whatever man..

They can post what they want. I’m happy with Potter and the kids. From what I can read…most of us are. I think that’s all it matters.
