Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Yes, I know Ron Ron was in the West already but now he's in a position to really have an impact w/ a Rockets team that had a seriously impressive off season.

If Yao and T-Mac can stay healthy...ah forget it. That's not going to happen

I always take Houston with a grain of salt though. This time though they might actually find a way not to screw things up. We’ll see, either way it only makes things harder on our glorious Suns

The Rockets

may now be the scariest team in the West (in more than one way). And now I really wonder what the Lakers are going to do with Lamar Odom.

Odom

every time I start to get frustrated w/ Diaw and his contract I remember Lamar….and feel better.

I am certainly glad that he’s still in LA and didn’t get moved to SAC for Artest.

I'm with Turambar on this one

The Rockets are the most disappointing team in the NBA.

Such good coaching, such talent, such great new pieces, but nada. The injuries are the easiest excuse, but that’s not their deep underlying problem.

The rockets deserve a serious expose (with an accent on the last e).

Not as scary as NO

If T-Mac was afraid to go to the All-Star game in New Orleans, how is he going to feel about going into his locker room?

Mmmmm ... Guinness

Between Tru Warrier

and Joey Dorsey, I’m pretty sure the Rockets would beat the hell out of most teams in the league. In a fight, I mean.

Maybe, but...

I still like our chances with a riled-up Shaq. I don’t think there’s anyone in the league who would want a piece of that.
