Shaun Livingston?
It looks like the Clippers just lost Brand, haha suckers. And now they have Baron at the point with Brevin Knight as his backup.
That said, do you think they'll still give up on Shaun Livingston? To retain him they'd have to pay around 5 mil i think for the season, and I hear that they'd rather cut him loose because theyre wary about paying him so much if he can't contribute right away.
If they don't, I really think that the suns should go hard for this kid, really get in the mix to give him a one year minimum deal to prove himself again. It would be a move with huge upside potential, and put the Suns in a position to fill a drastic need with a play-making pg.
This is obviously a hypothetical in terms of feasibility at the moment, but he passed his recent physical and has been cleared to play, and i'm really excited about this guy. What do you think? Any other ideas for a backup pg? I'm really not happy about this tyronne lue idea - being shaq's friend doesn't make you good at your job.

Meh...
I guess i’d be game for a one year deal, but anything more would be problematic considering he still has to prove he can play after that uber injury.

Meh, too.
I’m not really too thrilled about this batch of free agents they’re talking about recently.
Lue has never impressed me, but he’s somewhat serviceable.
I really worry about Livingson’s knee. It was a freak injury, but how does that happen without undue force if his knee isn’t already spaghetti to begin with. If healthy he’s intriguing, but risky.
Darius Miles might be fun to sign for the veteran’s minimum if only because it would be fun to watch Kevin Pritchard’s head explode. But I can watch Scanners for a couple bucks at Blockbuster, so maybe that’s a little much to pay for a cheap thrill.
And Brent Barry again? Ay ay ay. Take a flier on a D-Leaguer who might be something for a couple years instead of an aging gunner, please.
