I once had a dog that died of Pargo
Oh, my mistake. The dog died of Parvo.
It was the Phoenix Suns that were killed by Pargo...

Phelps, STAT, etc.
That’s sad, Stan. The dog dying and also how we are all so bored we’re reaching for corny jokes for a story.
Do you think Dallhauser would make a good power forward? He’s kinda skinny. Maybe we could get Michael Phelps to give Amare a heart transplant. Like I said in another thread, we can talk ad nauseam about the deficiencies of the Suns, but if Stoudemire wakes up one day and gets it, we win the title. No ifs, ands, or buts. We’re talkin 32 ppg, 13 rebs, 5 assists and 37 mpg while leading the league in blocks and steals. I am firmly convinced of that.

Hahaha...
Parvo. I thought it was funny. Not that dead pets are funny. But I like Pargo vs. parvo.

Pargo
If Dragic isn’t ccoming, and he’ll take 2 mil, I say let’s do it. Some have said his PG skills are not any better than Barbosa, but who cares? I can see playing Pargo and LB, along with Grant, Boris, and Amare for some stretches to run some teams down. then put Lopez, Nash and Bell out there for a tough change of pace.
Notice I didn’t include Shaq. I’m so down on him. If I ever see him go 5-16 on free throws and miss 6 point blank layups, I think I’ll tear my hair out.

Pargo
If he wants to play for the vet. minimum, sure.
Otherwise, I’m not really that keen on PG-sized SGs who can’t shoot (.390 FG%). To be fair, he is at least a decent defender though.

he better be worth it
if they are going to give him a 3 yr deal w/ decent money that’s a big risk for a rookie…I would almost rather see him play in Spain this year and come next sign him to a “normal” rookie level deal.

Yeah,
I’m worried all this build-up and money is going to raise expectations a bit too high on Goran. Especially the money factor is kind of unfair because veterans/current players (see Matt Barnes/Alando Tucker) or journalists might look at his salary and be bitter, but really most of that money is going to go back to Tau to pay for his buyout.
Nonetheless, I’m all about some Dragic.

They can't just give him a bunch of money
right of the bat… Rosewood is right. That would set the bar too high for him. He still needs to prove that he can play at a high level in the NBA. All this drama…i hope is worth it.
