New Blog: Five For Howling - for Coyotes fans Bar-right-arrows

Suns second-round draft pick Goran Dragic reached a buyout agreement with Spanish club Tau Ceramica and is en route to Phoenix to sign a contract to play for the Suns this season.

Dragic ended more than seven weeks of negotiations with the Spanish club by signing a buyout agreement Saturday night, his agent, Rade Filipovich, told The Arizona Republic on Sunday. Dragic is on his way to Phoenix with a verbal agreement that he will sign a four-year contract early this week with the Suns, Filipovich said. The deal's fourth year will be a team option.

Finally!

I’m ecstatic about this & I’ve hardly even seen the guy play… We’ve needed a back-up for as long as I can freakin’ remember, the bench is starting to shape up and with Porter at the helm using a deeper rotation… uh-oh… I’m starting to get optimistic again. Must think bad thoughts, must think bad thoughts…

Agreed

Agreed 100%. In fact, I was going to post this same thing after seeing it on hoopshype, linked to an article in El Correo (for those of you who can read/speak spanish): see http://www.elcorreodigital.com/alava/20080817/deportes/tau/dragic-phoenix-cerca-200808171749.html

Dragic for ROY!

Ok, maybe we are getting ahead of ourselves here but it’s certain good to see this get done. Finally.
Two quick thoughts…

Kerr has huge balls and will either be a genius or an moron…wait, didn’t we already go through that once and moron was the outcome?

I predict DJ Strawberry won’t be a Sun this season that they will use his roster spot for another end of the bench big man.

Finally x 10!

I’m anxious to see how this plays out.

Tsakalidis II?

I hope this isn’t Big Jake all over again. He was supposed to be our center for years.

Yeah, but

The Suns had no center then. So all he had to do was exceed the expectations of his nickname Suck-A-Lidis.

Mmmmm ... Guinness

Kerr strikes again

How can this guy be the second best PG in the draft when he was the secopnd best PG for Tau Ceramica. He was the backup PG for them. Sounds like Kerr last year when he said Marks was a good player and would play a lot last year. Anyone heard from Marks lately?

I don't know if you have short term memory problems....

but you just wrote the same thing 20 minutes earlier in the other thread.
