Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

I know, I know we shouldn't cheer players (or people) getting hurt.

But this guy has KILLED the Suns so I for one am cheering his inability to play until January.

Besides, it was Mr. Ellis who undercut Grant Hill towards the end of last season that cost Grant his ability to contribute to the Spurs series which in turn got D'Antoni run from town.

That Karma. She's nasty.

I love Monta. No cheering for him. I collapsed from laughter when Manu got hurt though… :D

Monta

This represents a regret for me, that DJ wasn’t used on Ellis more. I personally don’t think using DJ to smother a hot guard like Monta for a few minutes is going to kill the offense. But it might knock ellis off his game enough so he never gets into one of those Suns-killing grooves. But D’Antoni wouldn’t hear of it.

Boo!

We shouldn’t cheer injuries. Arrests, sure. But not injuries unless they are the product of an arrest.

Don't be so quick to Boo

Here’s a quote:

Ellis was scheduled to undergo surgery on his left ankle in Alabama on Wednesday, according to team sources, after he informed the club late last week that he had injured himself working out. More specifics about how Ellis sustained the injury were not immediately available.

We might be able to cheer this yet.
