I know it's hard to look past the lineup of Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Kobe and Fisher, but let's not forget the propensity of the Lakers, thanks to their negative energy locker room, not to stay healthy for very long.

Amare - best Suns Defender??

I talk a big swig of salt when I read anything from someone that lists Amare as the Suns best defender b/c he averaged 2 blocks per game….

And I am an Amare fan!

But he is not and will not be the Suns best defender just b/c he’s got a flashy block stat.

Getting blocks either means you’re a good defender or the other team is getting a ton of dribble penetration. For every block, how many drivers still score and/or get fouled?

I don’t know why posters like ZF keep saying the Lakers can’t stay healthy?
