amare needs to be ripped publicly
i know that porter rips amare (at times) and maybe kerr has his sweet lil talks with him, but i do believe amare needs to be ripped publicly. think about it. remember when dwight howard was a volume scorer and SVG told the media that he hated dwights defense and dwight was forcing shots? that was about last year, where dwight had a string of 5 games where he didnt even get 10 rebounds. dwight said hed work on it, and he did. you see, ripping a player publicly puts a lot more pressure on the player. the media is watching, people see your deficiencies, and YOU know theyre watching, so you better man up. heck, i remember when kobe scored 40+ on the thunder but needed about 40 shots to do it (though he made half) and phil jackson still said kobe played like a ball hog (they won the game btw). or how about when phil said that sasha plays with so much heart but zero brain (a month ago, i believe).
point is, we are babying amare. hes acting like an idiot. weve tried everything, talking to him nicely, asking shaq to teach him, kerr talking to him privately, porter ripping him in the sidelines, its time to pile on the pressure. tell the media that amare is vastly underperforming and is an idiot.
it may not be the nicest thing to do, but trust me it will get results. oh, and amare sure as hell deserves any shame he gets.

Like I have said many times
They need to trade him. If the Suns management thinks that this team is going to make a run, they are fooling themselves.
Get two number ones and a usable player. 27 years old and still thinks he is one of the top players in the league. Amare time to grow up, unfortunately we will be waiting a long time.
"Have You heard of the Boom on Mizar 5?"
i second this motion -)
ps…I found it very similar – that marion was performing poorly, then there was trade talk involving him and banks and then Marion gets a bunch of double doubles….he’s very similar to amare in this respect…..he isn’t consistent

Suns are waiting too long till the players lose thier value and hard to get a high value exchange player. If they gave a championship to Suns before, then yes there will be a tough argument considering the trade plan, but they gave nothing than a Run and Gun game for the Fun and delights of Phoenix fans. Till when they are going to wait before trading them for a valuable new personnel?
run and gun pads stats
the best time to have traded them was in that offense. porter is deflating their stats, trading them now would be a waste. we still have a great lineup, but not great effort.
snap out of it
dude is a 6’10" bag of yogurt. i am on the verge of offended that i stuck up for him for a long time. he plays like a zombie. mostly he’s just dead, but sometimes he eats your brains and rips off some farmer’s arm and slashes another guy’s throat. but all in all, he lies down during the day, and walks around like he can’t bend his knees.
sheeeeeeiiiit!
He needs to be traded ASAP
Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."
Agreed!!
He’s an All-Star Starter! His trade value will never be higher.
Stat is not a leader!
Amare who?
rumor has it he was suppose to be good
If you make every game a life-and-death thing, you're going to have problems. You'll be dead a lot.

The Phoenix Suns...Who?
It is not just Stat that needs to be ripped. The real problem here was evident back when Bell and Nash stated that the team had no identity. The setting was perfect for Stat to take over the team. This was his team to take over and lead but the opportunity has since passed. The team needs an emotional leader like KG. When somebody is not playing up to there potential or when they lose, what happens. The team shrugs there shoulders and say oh well we can’t win them all. It is obvious on there faces. Where is the accountability on the player. The coach can only yell so much for so long before the players just do not care. Stat blew the chance of a lifetime to take the drivers seat and lead this team. Now things will just have to play out until contracts expire after next season. Just my two cents on the grand scheme of things.
pretty pathetic.
it would make the suns look awful. especially with the game being in phoenix.
if stat gets booed during the intros, all-star events in phoenix will be done for awhile.
