That last game of the preseason. I can tell you the team is tired of traveling around the world (three countries plus Oklahoma!) and will be looking forward to coming back to Phoenix for a few days of practice before the season kicks off next week in LA.
This will also be the last game of the season that isn't televised!
With no TV, don't expect much from us about this game. We'll link to the relevant recaps and box score but for tonight I advise just kicking back and sending positive thoughts for Goran Dragic's infected toe.
Of course those maniacs from Blazers Edge probably aren't going to be so chill as us so if you need some kind of online rush go visit their thread. Be nice.

Looks like the Blazers will counter the Suns no Dragic by sitting Oden, Aldridge and Batum. Seems fair to me...
Oden (adductor) and Aldridge (shin) are probable for tonight's game v. Suns. Batum (thigh) is questionable

that is perhaps play-by-play man Brian Wheeler's best trait
He’s quite good at describing what is happening on the court.
You should hear him in a regular season game though— when Brandon Roy beat Houston on a buzzer beater last year he went absolutely crazy. On the flipside, he makes every opponent run sound like both pure luck and the end of the world. He’s very, very up and down. I prefer an even tempered guy myself, but some fans like his style.

Ouch just checked the box score, Frye led the Suns in minutes with 32. 1 Rebound.

I’m finding it hard to be optimistic for the season with this bunch of creampuffs.
Don’t get me wrong I love the Suns but the team as it is – well we’re too damn short or don’t have it in the gene’s or whatever to rebound. It takes more than a coach just telling the team to rebound to do it, you need the players heck Barkley was 6"4ish and he was a monster rebounder.
You just need the right guy(s). That guy isn’t Amare, he’s been a pro 7 yrs if he hasn’t learned how to dominate rebounds yet he never will. He’s great to have for other reasons, but for boards and clogging up the middle on defense you need a different guy.
The Suns just don’t have that guy on the roster at the moment.

The fact that none of our bigs want to rebound is absolutely ridiculous.
Say what you want about Shaq…at least the dude finally fixed our rebounding differential for us, and the ideas that he “slowed down the offense” are flat out wrong. Seven Seconds or Shaq=117.7 ppg over 31 games in Gentry’s system, and most of them without Amare or Barbosa. Under D’Antoni, SSOS went 15-5 in our last 20 games, and Amare started averaging 29 a game. The way Porter used Shaq suffocated our team, but when we started running, he did what he was supposed to do, namely rebound the damn ball, play some post defense, and school his opponent on the other end if we didn’t have a good shot.
