Steve Nash moments

After reading wattdoggs great piece about the first time he truly relised just how unbelievable our mighty leader Steve Nash is, I felt now would be as good a time as any to ask all of you - What's been your favourite Steve Nash moment?  What was it that made it so special? What happened?

Be as descriptive as possible people - we all want to bathe in the Nash-love that we all know we have.

There are too many to count

Steve Nash has pretty much been the reason I started watching NBA again in the magical 04-05 season, which in turn made Phoenix my “other” team, (Raptors being my Home team).

So although my favorite Steve Nash moment was him winning the MVP that season, my favorite in-game Steve Nash moment was him drilling the game winner in the epic NJ 3OT battle.

Honestly

That cross-court thread-the-needle pass to Jared Dudley against the Wolves was as good as any play he’s made as a Sun. That’s the great thing about Nash: the quality is there in almost every possession.

does anyone remember a game 2 or 3 seasons ago...

where nash had 2 points but about 20 assists and he just dominated the court whenever he was on? It might have been dallas they were playing..

I can’t think of anyone else who could absolutely dominate the game with 2 points on the board…

This.

I turned the TV off before Nash went off. I was so pissed I didn’t even check the final. A co-worker told me about the result the next day.

I’m a terrible fan, I know.

That's my Nash moment, too.

In case you haven’t seen. 10 pts in one minute.
And notice who gets the rebound to tie it all up.

It's a different Dallas game for me

although the result in that one was much better.

Personally, this game was the one where I just watched Nash in awe. Yeah, the Mavericks were trying to make Steve into a scorer and their strategy worked. But he was so efficient. The downside of this game was Nash had about 300 turnovers, especially down the stretch as he was just worn out, but his shooting in that game was just ridiculous.

Nash moment

I’ll aways love that play against San Antonio when he was falling out of bounds. Trapped bu Duncan, who had left Stoudemire under the basket, Steve somehow threw a wrap-around bounce pass to Amare for the slam. Even Duncan who has a perpeptual confused look on his face, arched an eyebrow over that one.

Blood

best moment by far. 07? 06 playoffs i forget. nash gets clipped in the nose by tony parker, cuts him wide open. has to change 2 jerseys because it kept bleeding all over. he said F it comes out on the field, and just keeps makin plays. droppin threes all over san antonio, and they had to force him off the court because the blood was so bad
