tight shots of players standing around pre game
doesn’t really do it for me.
I tend to use a 300 or 400 for game action, and do like tighter shots, but they tend to be more “portrait” than indicative of the game itself.
I would also
add that I have a ton of tight shots to pick from but for whatever reason I tend to like this wide angles for what I post.
That’s my editorial judgment not Max’s use of lenses.
I thought this kind of team photo where they were looking all serious conveyed the right feeling for the post
