FIRST!
Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."

you don't get an assist for passing it to Amare 10 times only to see him brick it.

And true fans will be raptured to Steve Nash’s side and look down on the vanquished Spurs and Lakers and entire Eastern Conference singing hymns of a fanatic nature.

Not great, not terrible.
We are TERRIBLE.
And without Amare, with a healthy KT, Marion, Raja, Diaw, we were FIFTH. I don’t think we can ever be a good defensive team with both Nash and Amare here.

Normally I would say that was a dick move calling a timeout there
But it’s LA’s fault for defending the inbound with such pressure.

Phil Jackson
did that in Phx in a blowout a few years ago. I think he called a couple of timeouts in the final minutes
pissed of D’Antoni

he did that because
they would have had to take a TV timeout anyway. Pringles was unaware of that and started yelling at Phil. Phil retorted by telling D’Antoni to “sit the fu#% down”

No, you won't beat us
Unless of course you don’t play neither Nash nor Amare.

we shoot our average percentages.. we smoke the Lakers..
that’s the only upside from this, I guess. other than that, we just weren’t ready to play these guys.

so did amare get owned by bynum or did he just out play himself?
by tevisthe4th on Nov 13, 2009 12:48 AM MST reply actions 0 recs
Amare typically has bad games against Bynum
Amar’e doesn’t like to work in the post which gives Bynum the advantage, but today he just had an awful shooting night. BYnum is playing better overall basketball than Amar’e but Amar’e will still likely start over Bynum at the All-Star game.
