The world is schocked -- Tony Parker's Comrades Cheat, Too
Henry, a close friend of San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker, patted the ball down like a basketball player before remembering to use his feet.
Anywhere I go, I cannot get away from the Sp*rs. I suppose that's my lot in life.
While the article reports that Henry was offside, I don't think he was the player in the offside position so he should have been able to receive the ball. But Gallas was offside.
Here's some video:

French Beep
I was watching this game and I felt for the Irish (I am English and we have all ready qualified for the world cup) over the two games the Irish were the better team at least Henry said it was a hand ball and this is why in the NBA and NFL you have instant replay .

At least someone else besides Suns fans are pissed at the Frenchies.
They say "don't swim with the sharks", but I'm faster than sharks so it's not a big deal...

Why dont they have more refs?
Futbol/Soccer needs a couple more refs on the field for every game so this dumb stuff will go away.
How much could that possibly cost?

Complete and utter crap
The Irish were by far the better team the entire game…..The funny thing is the guy said it was instinctual and an accident. Excuse me but I didn’t know you ever used or are use to using your hands in futbol, thus the instinct defense is a complete joke. What a lying sack of poop! Ireland should have won, and if the French had any honor they would agree to replay this game.
