Around SBN: Has Kentucky Improved Since the Non-Conference Season?

Do you guys even realize

what you had?

Knick fan here... just wondering if it is eating at you guys that you traded our first round pick away to Utah... It kills us that it was sent away in the first place... Possibly one of the worst moves of all time was Thomas not even top 5 protecting it.

Isiah Thomas sent it to Phoenix, who then sent it to Utah.  In a hilarious chain of events, the Jazz will have acquired a potential top-five pick for Keon Clark and Ben Handlogten.

*sigh*

The Suns have so badly mismanaged draft picks over the last 5 years that this is no surprise. Throw in the fact that the Suns have no first round pick in 2010 as it is, Suns fans will just be glad when we can stop reading about blundered pick management.

Put it this way gbaked, I’d still rather be a Sun fan than a Knick fan. Doesn’t it burn you that you’re still paying Eddy Curry?

its not so much paying him

as the two top picks that were thrown in for no reason.

sigh is right.

but better days are ahead where we are… Curry, one day… will be gone

And hey!

Your squad looked pretty decent against the Hornets tonight. I like Gallinari.

Knicks fans

are going to be burning even more when all the 2010 superstars realise there is no team in New York to join, and look elsewhere.
Who do the fans lynch then?

Knicks

I’m not a Knicks fan. They are in good shape in 2010 even if they strike out on all free agents. They will be in a better position than they were headed to in 2010 under Isiah Thomas.

In 2010, they will have flexibility to start over without being stuck with untradeable players with long term contracts. Before the salary dump thing they are doing now, they had lots of mixes of “me first” attitude guys, poor shooting guys and guys tied to long term contracts that did not match with their average basketball abilities. In 2010, if nothing else they can start building a team without being hamstrung by guys with contracts. And theres always Chris Paul in 2012….
