Exhibit A on Complacency

Haven’t been watching the game, but the Bobcats have led by as much as 24 and are currently up 11 on the Cavliers with 7 minutes to go.

I’d rather not see that happen in Minny tonight.

i watched that game

Charlotte led 90-75 with 9 minutes left and didn’t hit a single field goal for about 8 minutes of game time and the LeBrons couldn’t even get closer than 5 or 6 points. Ridiculously pathetic effort

It was SUPPOSED to be ESPN

But they bumped it for the OKC-MIL match-up. Can’t say I blame them. I had no idea why they thought this game would warrant national coverage back when they announced the NBA schedule.

Amare

with 2 quick fouls….

This is something we haven’t seen much this year….Al Jefferson has always gotten the best of Stat, it seems

Wolves promptly go to Jefferson with Amar’e on the bench and he gets swatted by Channing Frye.

Also, what was all that about rebounding again? And what was all that about complacency?

I still think his only problem is with fouls.

If he doesn’t foul out, he’s gonna get to showcase some awesome ability. If he starts fouling early, he can’t do anything.

Your team really looks weird without Steve Nash in the game.

No offense.

Same as the above Devil, here after seeing the Raptors game. Bosh got dunked on HARD, you might want to check up on that guys, I’m led to believe you like good offense here in Phoenix ;)

So, what’s going to happen with your game? Looks good so far right?

Hard to fault Bosh for going down

He took a SHOT to the groin, without which, Pierce does not get that dunk so easily

Making the dunk had nothing to do with the groinshot.

Andrew Bynum and Dwight Howard tore the Suns up. If some combination of Lopez, Collins and Frye can slow down (I wouldn’t be so bold as to say “stop”) the better big men in the league, then the Suns can make some noise.

That's not to knock Shaq too much

It’s just that I think the whatever they lost in his presence has been more than compensated for in other areas, especially on the offensive end where the lane is now fair game for Nash and his slashers.

Maybe

BUT, I have to say in this system, it might work better if Frye slides over to the 4 when Lopez is in the game. It gives them a solid interior presence and keeps the floor spaced offensively. At some point, the Suns will have to have Stoudemire and Lopez on the floor at the same time, but this iteration has the personnel to be more flexible with the rotation.

Been watching...

but don’t really have much to say due to the great job on defense (plus poor Minny couldn’t buy a shot to save their lives). Good win…can’t wait til next game on Sunday.

he is way more aggressive tonight

I like it… part of that is our opponent, but i like to see some fire out of him

it's nice to have a coach

that seems intent on nurturing young talent.

The streamer totally lost interest in the game.

Lou

Lou is so much better to see than Steven Hunter, Jumaine Jones, or Burke.

Memo to Suns Announcers

ESPN absolutely made the right decision dropping this game in favor of MIL-OKC. They, and America, would be cutting themselves right now if they had been forced to watch this.

Of course, it would have finally been a win for the Suns on national TV this year.

We won on ESPN earlier this year

I think it was the first or second game of the year against the Clippers or Warriors…the Suns have been able to win on ESPN, even last year; its just that damn TNT that they’re cursed with losing on.

My bad...we won but...

it was actually when we blew out the Hornets at home.

What a shitty steal there at the end.

That was so uncalled for. Lose with dignity, T’Wolves.

blowout wins..

i hope the suns dont get too complacent, raptors are up next.

by Larfleeze on Nov 27, 2009 9:54 PM MST reply actions

i think the blowout is a sign of focus on the task at hand

see, for example, our loss at new orleans where clearly we were resting on our previous accomplishments and underrated an opponent…

glad to see that the team someone it was supposed to in exactly the fashion it should’ve.

Hey man

look what happens when you lose focus - Memphis is beating Portland by 13. I really think the Blazers might have a problem. I like our team better.

Zebo

is taking out some years of post-Portland anger on his old team

Brandon Roy is shooting 7-19

Why can’t he do that against us?
