Home whites in Cleveland?

That means we’re winning. We’re undefeated when we wear white shirts.

Our defence needs to take a step up on their guy otherwise Cleveland will continue to hit. Liking Steve’s early aggression.

Anyone hear the announcers chirping Lebron for acting as another official?

I recall Amar’e stating about 4 games ago that his early foul trouble was nothing to worry about as it was a one off….3 games later and he’s gotten into early foul trouble in three games.

by keify34 on Dec 2, 2009 5:30 PM MST up reply actions

If we make our point blank looks, we’re leading. Simple mistakes so far. We’ll turn it round though. We’re not playing great but we’re not getting blown out like yesterday.

In other news….Shaq appears to have eaten a small herd of rhino. Dude is FAT.

not watching, what happened?

Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."

by rsavaj on Dec 2, 2009 5:36 PM MST up reply actions

we are all witnesses

Lebron stole the ball from Amare at about mid-court with one second left and promptly drained a buzzer beating 3 from about mid-court

by ArizonaCactus on Dec 2, 2009 5:37 PM MST up reply actions

We’re getting spanked. Nothing is dropping, Steve is struggling, we’re blowing point blank looks and Lebron is running the Cavs and they’r ehitting everything.

I’m not too concerned about these two games. Sounds stupid, I know. Yesterday was an anomoly. No way that kind of game happens again. Today is identical to the Magic and Lakers result wise so far. Back to back struggles against true championship calibre teams.

Something happened to them on the way to NYC? There are no words to describe the effort shown tonight. Just awful.

"Basketball doesn't build character. It reveals it"

by PanamaSun on Dec 2, 2009 6:12 PM MST reply actions

Time for a bit of balance...

…look, we all knew we were never as good as 14-3. We all accepted that we’d had an unbelievable start to the season and that everyones favourite son/sun was being mentioned in the MVP talk was like a fairytale. That wasn’t us. We were being spoilt.
BUT, todays game and yesterdays games aren’t us either. We’re firmly in the middle somewhere.

Ok, we suck right now but I’m actually pretty appalled at how quickly we’ve turned on the team. It’s a sh*tty effort by all accounts. No excuses there but b*tching about certain players isn’t gonna help.

by keify34 on Dec 2, 2009 6:13 PM MST reply actions

hate to bring up ...

the “trade amare” talk this early and in the middle of a game. But this seems to becoming his signature play…. play uninterested in one game or even in the first half.. then come up with a big game or the 2nd half to quiet the criticism. i know everybodys playing lousy but Amare “teasing” us with his up and down game seems to be the only consistent aspect of his game this year (the last couple of seasons actually). And he’s suppose to be the top max contract star. Is it his injury? or he simply doesnt have the mentality of top stars like Kobe n LEbron to focus or will their teams to wins.
