I have a mac
And IMO it works better than firefox and safari in terms of stability . I think browsing is faster too
Steve Nash plays D!!
Chrome is great!
I love the omnibar thing…anyways glad they brought out a mac build. but firefox + plugins is probably still the best.

anyone hear about artest falling at home....and phil jackson's terse response:
Asked his interpretation of Artest’s injury before the Lakers’ game against the Kings, Jackson responded, "What do you mean, ‘What’s my interpretation?’ What’s that supposed to mean?
"Let me see, my interpretation is that an accident happened, he fell down, he ended up in the hospital, and he came out with some stitches. Other than that, I can’t add anything to it."

Fun though!
I’m impressed with the Warriors’ heart over the last few games… they’re really fighting despite being a dysfunctional franchise and that’s a major shift from the past…

This is a horribly constructed team...
Nellie doesn’t know what to do with Randolph…
There was the Jackson drama early in the season…
And I still don’t see how Curry/Ellis works..
And the fact that Biedrins and Turiaf have been out so long is no small factor…

Ellis is the guy in crunch time...

Three smart plays...
Grant with the step in jumper…great decision
Grant with the tip put back
JRich with the d
I'm sure you all know this....
But this Suns team is remarkably well put together…
It’s almost impossible to defend them when healthy and rested… outside shooting, penetration, and a post presence in Amare…

All fair points...
…however, this team is designed not to be stopped on offense. Defensively however, it’s a different story..
I guess I wonder what you would change from this unit to address that...
What would you add without disturbing the chemistry?

From Matt Steinmetz on Warriors halftime show...
“The Warriors like to run, but the Suns do it on a whole nother level”
Yes, the Suns do it efficiently…and have a point guard who facilitates it better than anyone since Magic Johnson…

The difference betwen the two ball clubs is that Phoenix look like they know what they're doing but GS look like chaos.
It works for them though, so fair play. This is a game that’s gonna be won one of two ways:
- First team to play defense or
- Whichever team tires last will win.
Worryingly, I think we’ll tire first. I don’t ever see Monta running out of gas.
Monta has already played 48 more times (5) than anyone in 5 yrs
Last person to accomplish it was Iverson, with 6…
I don’t see how it’s sustainable… but to do that and play at such a high level is worthy of all-star consideration
But I think you’ll find that our lack of depth will lead to a serious decline in performance come 4th qtr…
SwishAppeal.com, women's basketball...covered SBN-style... twitter: @qmccall3
I hope you're right but I dunno...the age thing is always in my mind.
I haven’t checked it out but GS have a younger squad on average and I don’t like it when Grant and steve have to play extended minutes…
true...
but at the ends of games when everybody’s legs are tired, having bigs to rebound helps a lot…
Edge: Suns.
We’ll see! I just want to see a competitive game!

ellis has always been an all star in my view, at least against us. With the Lopez bust, I just think we’re not on a championship qwest…sadly…but we’ve had a lot of fun this season so far…
Lakers and Sactown is tied at 78 at the end of three.
The END of 3.
We’re almost there at the end of two.
Does defense win you championships? Maybe but playing no d is more fun!

To be fair
The only Suns starter that hasn’t been notable worse on 2nd nights is Steve Nash, who is actually better on those nights. He’s just ridiculous.

when did this team get so bad from the free throw line?
April 29, 2008 Total Eclipse of the Sun. Is the sky falling?
Frosty’s dreamshake was a delight.
In other news, loving the third quarter show by Nash. That’s the nash we need in the fourth of all games. Screw giving the ball to Amar’e in clutch situations, Steve HAS to have the ball in his hands.
I trust a tired Nash more than I trust a rested Amar’e.
140 pts
I’m thinking it might take 140 points to win this game

Amare was 4/9...
That’s not too bad. But he was 1/4 from the foul line. 1 or 2 extra points from the line would have made all the difference at the end of the game.
24 seconds?

This team has no heart
And I hate to say it, but I think Steve Nash likes to try to come back from behind more than he likes to crush his opponent, and that attitude has permeated our whole team. We have no ability to put bad teams away.
…the officials didn’t call the game fairly.
We were on the end of back to backs.
We played twice in essentially the same 24 hour period.
Amar’e was off.
Steve couldn’t get a call.
The weather wasn’t the right temperature.
Because there were 8 letters in the month we played in.
It was a crappy schedule.
Dudley’s shoes were the wrong colour.
Oh and the only one that counts…we didn’t play a single ounce of defense. This game makes me sick.
I’m under no illusions that we’re not a championship calibre team and understand that we’re possibly a 5-8 playof team but these are the teams we should be beating. No excuses.
Just plain appalling.
We're still 19-12, which is a pretty good record ...
But we’ve got from spectacular to craptacular as soon as the calendar flipped from November to December. I would have been way more okay with the 19-12 record if we had been playing .600 ball from the beginning.
The sign of a bad team is that...
…they find ways to lose.
Suns missed 8 of 27 FTs (shot 70.4%)
Warriors only missed 5 of 37 shots (shot 86.5%).
Darn.
We all knew we were never a 14 and 3 team. That was never the case.
We weren’t that good then and we’re not as bad as we have been in December. We’re somewhere in the middle.
agreed
but as the season gets harder where do you see our team improving? our free throw shooting is still sub-standard. our defense is atrocious. I just don’t see this team improving in the key areas it will need to in order to win games.
i wouldn’t be surprised if this team doesn’t make the play-offs

Wow.
…That’s quite a knee jerk reaction you’ve got going on there! Need to see a doctor about it?
I freely admit our defense and free throw shooting woes are exactly that..woes. No NBA team can expect to win games if they miss free throws and don’t play any form of defense. And I admit that it’s a concern that we haven’t won 2 games in a row for a month. All of that concerns me. As does our inability to close out games and start strongly.
BUT…. the season is only 31 games old. San An are in a much worse situation than us and yet I don’t here them panicking about not making the playoffs. We;ve got an awful long way to go but we’ve got the talent to improve, the players and coaching staff are honest enough in evalutation of how they play to find the holes. Now we just have to plug them.
A loss to the Warriors hurts. But we all know that this Golden State team CAN be good. We helped thm out in a lot of ways tonight, but let’s not take it all away from them, they made the shots they had to.
We’ll get there. It’s just gonna be the rollercoaster ride route we take!
Thing is ...
San Antonio’s record is getting close to ours. They’re now 16-11. We’re slowly but surely losing our positioning in the Western Conference here. This team hasn’t gotten very many surprise wins, and now they’re not even closing out on the teams they’re supposed to beat. They’re fallible at home now and they’ve lost 7 straight road games. They need to stop the bleeding soon if they’re going to stay in the race. Losing 2 out of ever 3 ain’t helping.
I hope not.
I lik him and trust him. Okay, he’s not the best coach in the world but he’s honest, the guys like him and he’s turne dus around from the dark days of Porter.
One year ago we hated this team and up until mid december we were still in love with it. It’s now looking like we’re a victim of our own success.
If we’d started off 9-11, we wouldn’t be bemoaning the fact we’re playing +.500 all now.
I agree about San an...
…they’re turning it round slowly which is what they do. And I kinda suspect we don’t have that ability to do that. I don’t think we;ve got the time either. They’ve given themselves that leeway by their past expolits in starting slowly and coming on strong late. We haven’t.
But the fact we’re fallible at home means very little. A record has to go eventually. The longer it goes on, the more of a millstone it is round our necks. Every home game we go into we’re wondering if today will be the day we lose it. It;s out the way now, we can start afresh from home and try and give ourselves a solid home court again. Maybe not imprenetrable but solid.
The 7 straight road loses hurts though. Tonights in particular. We should have won tonight but if you can’t do basics, you don’t deserve to win. I’m not gonna lie…I’m off to bed now and I’m gonna be feeling sick from this loss while I try and get some sleep.
Interested to read the write up tomorrow.
Yeah I understand
We wouldn’t go undefeated at home. My main point was that if we’re going to lose 7 straight on the road, we can’t make it a habit to lose at home too, or we’re never going to survive.
Actually, the season will get easier.
December appears to be the Suns’ most difficult month, schedule wise, although February is tough.
But after December, the Suns have no more games versus BOS, ORL, or CLE. Only 12 of their 49 remaining games after December are against ATL, LAL, SAS, POR and DEN, and 8 of those 12 games are in Phoenix. Not that playing at home is such an advantage, but at least road fatigue won’t be so much of an issue.
No magic from LB tonight.
He was 3/9 from the field with 3 turnovers.
Looking back...
The beginning of the 4th qtr was decisive. The Warriors went on a 7-0 run to start the 4th.
Suns had a shot clock violation, some TOs, LB made some bad plays.
It seemed like in November, the bench would start the 4th qtr, and give the team a boost before the starters closed the game out.
But that was then…
Sad Effort, Sad Results
Should we be surprised? Their normal poor defense became no defense tonight. they probably figured that they could shoot their way out of any deficit. Problem was that GSW actually did play some defense when needed.
Foolish turnovers, even by Nash, 24 second clock violations, no blocking out on key possessions (a high school coach would kick his players’ asses over mistakes like that). I wonder what the excuses are tonight: tough to do back to backs (every team has to do them and we recently got our ass kicked by teams in b-t-b); tough travel schedule, tough coming off an “emotional” 31 point victory where our starters rested most of the 4Q.
Lack of attention to detail and focus are the problems. They act like they don’t care. This has been going on for several games and Gentry keeps doing the same thing every game. If you aren’t getting the results, try something different.
