Can We?
If Steve Nash cannot go on Thursday night. Do we still have a frozen farts chance in hell?
I think we might. It would be an extreme longshot be it can be done. Take the bobcats for example. They have a few possible future stars but nobody really worth giving the cake too. They beat them.
If Nash cannot go it could result in a huge letdown for the lakers. We are missing Amare and then Nash goes down. It could be one of those times they come out with the attitude of "we are playing the bench tonight". I wonder what you guys think about this?
Can we still compete?

I think
It is at least a must compete. We HAVE to come out to play and not take another 40 point loss regardless of who is hurt or not.
" I'm going to root for the Suns when they are winning or losing, but when losing I will point and blame the failing economy on the Referees."- Me.
i guess so
anything is possible in the nba. Likely? without nash no way. but crazier things have happened. if we leave this week splitting with LA it will be a good week
Dragic!
He’s the key. Gentry will almost certainly start LB at the point. If Dragic can come in and not get embarrassed by D-Fish or Farmar, then the Suns just need to lock down Kobe, Lamar and Pau.
So, totally. We’ve got this. Suns 128-Lakers 111.
Why not compete. We were probably going to lose anyway, but now we don't have the burden of expectations.
In Nash we trust - for better and for worse...
Not saying the Lakers are slipping up
But early in the season they were absolutely crushing teams in the second half. Post All-Star break they’ve been leaving teams around up until the last couple minutes. Not saying we have a chance if Steve doesn’t play, but this system can win on any given night.
Yep. The Lakers are due for a loss
They have been losing focus lately and barely beat the T-Wolves & OKC. They also play in Denver Friday night and in Phx Sunday afternoon.
I figure they’ll probably lose at least one of those games. Maybe not likely Thursday night at Staples but it wouldn’t surprise to see them drop one of the other two.
I would love to see it!
I hate to go negative against our team, but I don’t think so. Lakers almost never let up. Almost everyone on that team plays 100% no matter what. It’s gonna be a miracle if we win this without Nash. Remeber folks, he’s the guy who originally turned us into a good team. (but we’ve faded into a decent team…)
In Gosh we trust. (see what I did there? God+Nash!)
