No tacos for you, Lakers fans!
Staples Center was on fire. People were happy with the shellacking the Suns were receiving. There was just one problem:
They didn't count on Louis Amundson
With a layup from Sweet Lou with 2:23 in the game, the Young Suns
made it to 100 points, completing a feat nobody in the Staples center that night thought possible:
Denying the Lakers fans free tacos.
This caused a huge uproar, and was the most exciting part of the 4th quarter, with the game long since settled around an average 20pt deficit.
-Young Suns Warming up.
We made it for the end of the d-league game, and the Young Suns started showing up early to practice before the game. They looked psyched out already.
Live game observations:
- I think Grant Hill's foot is hurting more than he lets on.
- Our team is completely undersized.
- LB Has improved a lot this season. Way more active on defense and involved in the game.
- At separate points, I heard Laker fans wonder who Tucker, Dragic, and Dudley were and why the "mighty lakers" had trouble stopping them.
- The Young Suns play pretty well together. I hope we keep them.
- Dragic shoots his first free throw too fast for the crowd to make noise. It amused me.
- Shaqovic making his free throws drove them mad.
- Dragic and Tucker are a lot better when they don't hesitate.
- Lakers are doing a great job disrupting the Suns offense.
- The Laker Fan's most hated Sun? Leandro Barbosa. They hate him with all the fire of Hell. It's pretty funny.
- This loss was easier in person than the Miami game.
Staples is a weird place to watch a game. Everything is centered around the perceived majesty of the lakers, while the psyche of the Lakers fan is a mix between Hollywood self consciousness and a frat boy's sense of entitlement.
Too bad they are playing so well.

This makes my day!
And justifies Louis Amundson contract totally!
In Nash we trust - for better and for worse...
