Prediction

SUNS 124, Blazers 120

We will be up by 15 late but give most of it back like the Suns love to do.

by EMSfan9 on Mar 26, 2009 7:48 PM MDT reply actions

YES!!!

xbox come out with the Brian Lara international cricket game…. thats great news!!!

Whats up doc?

by RottPhiler on Mar 26, 2009 7:54 PM MDT reply actions

Adding random previews

to the game threads is just one of those random blog ideas…I think though that this game was released in 2005 but I left in anyway because…because I don’t have an editor I guess

by Seth Pollack on Mar 26, 2009 8:33 PM MDT up reply actions

man

I really liking the bench all of a sudden, but somethings missing…a servicable big…I hope Swift steps it up….all I got to say is THE REST OF THE WEST BETTER WATCH OUT CAUSE WE GUNNIN FOR EVERYBODY!!!!

by ron_dasun on Mar 26, 2009 8:37 PM MDT reply actions

I felt Stro

helped a lot when he came in the game yesterday. He scored, got a big rebound. If he works hard maybe he can get more playing time.

whats up

with Sideshow Rob though…I mean if nothing else he should be six fouls

by ron_dasun on Mar 26, 2009 8:41 PM MDT up reply actions

I haven't given up on him

but we can’t afford to have him on the court if he’s not focused.

"Basketball doesn't build character. It reveals it"

by PanamaSun on Mar 26, 2009 8:44 PM MDT up reply actions

I thought Swift

looked totally and completely lost unless he was doing something that didn’t involve anyone else. I am no expert, but I that’s not a good way to play a team sport like basketball.

by Seth Pollack on Mar 26, 2009 8:43 PM MDT up reply actions

Really?

I mean, I’m not saying he was Amar’e but at least he wasn’t pulling a Robin Lopez out there.

for some reason

I’m not expecting the worse. Maybe is the 2nd unit ( sounds like an Chuck Norris movie title) that’s got me all excited and stuff.

Vamos a ganar, ya veras.

Yes sir.

You can have optimism for the both of us.

The Heat are in fith place.

When is the NBA going to fix the playoff format?

by stampchez on Mar 26, 2009 8:40 PM MDT reply actions

never

I like it like that through..keep the conferences seperate…there’s always gonna be a couple of weak sisters getting in

by ron_dasun on Mar 26, 2009 8:43 PM MDT up reply actions

The East has been bad for like 10 years now.

If you look at the people running these teams, they don’t have a lot of hope catching up.

by stampchez on Mar 26, 2009 8:45 PM MDT up reply actions

TRUE

but the same reasons you are using to get us in the playoffs might comeback and bite us another year

by ron_dasun on Mar 26, 2009 8:47 PM MDT up reply actions

and record wise

3 of the best teams are from the East now

by ron_dasun on Mar 26, 2009 8:47 PM MDT up reply actions

It's not about the Suns getting in...it's about improving the show.

The East is top heavy. The first round series are rarely competitive.

by stampchez on Mar 26, 2009 8:49 PM MDT up reply actions

well then that would

defeat the whole point of having conferences

by ron_dasun on Mar 26, 2009 9:07 PM MDT up reply actions

I think we need another bet

quick – someone come up w a good bet idea before tip off

by Seth Pollack on Mar 26, 2009 8:44 PM MDT up reply actions

If the Suns win

Ben will have to repeat 15 times (on the next podcast) that the Suns are the Blazers daddy.

"Basketball doesn't build character. It reveals it"

by Seth Pollack on Mar 26, 2009 8:48 PM MDT up reply actions

Oh

I thought they were here. I have nothing then

"Basketball doesn't build character. It reveals it"

Everyone’s like: No, they won’t make it. No, they don’t play enough D. bla bla bla.

PStan

missed it when he said our bench was better than the Blazers. They have Frye, Bayless, Sergio, Outlaw, and Batum., for crying out loud. All we have is the Moon Unit. Also, The preview said Barnes could handle Aldridge. Wrong-o.

To the Suns’ credit, it isn’t all their fault when a team shoots 62%. That won’t happen every night.

April 29, 2008 Total Eclipse of the Sun. Is the sky falling?

by Hawk42 on Mar 26, 2009 11:16 PM MDT reply actions

Rudy and Oden come off the bench too

There aren’t too many guys that can stop Aldridge. What usually stops him is when his shot isn’t falling. Did you notice he was pretty effective at checking Nash on switches? He’s getting comfortable doing this with quite a few PGs.

I hope the Suns make it so we can see a Suns-L*kers and Shaq-Kobe series. This one was going to be a tough one for the Suns to pull off and that’s how it worked out. Beat Utah for us, will ya?

put a body on 'em

That review was based from current trend.

The Suns before this game played better ball than Portland. Portland scored enough to almost win had the Suns not ran out of gas. Portland expected to have to score 130 points to win. The Suns just didn’t have enough to get there. Remember they did arrive at 3 o’clock that morning after playing a “higher ranked” team and beating them in an emotionally charged game. Portland was sitting at home watching the Suns play for the last 3 or 4 days.

Matt Barns could have gone either way. Sometimes he is great. Sometimes he is not. Aldridge is sometimes great, and sometimes he is not. He really is like watching Stat. He has the same ups and downs from what I can tell.

Our Bench was beating people with HUSTLE. Not skill and nobody ever said we had the most skilled bench. What was said however was that we have a bench that was out hustling some of the better, bigger lineups out there. In which case had things clicked we would of shown up Portland’s bench.

" I'm going to root for the Suns when they are winning or losing, but when losing I will point and blame the failing economy on the Referees."- Me.
