Gutless Suns succumb to Mavs' bullying
I hate to say it, but the Suns' refusal to stand up for a teammate is what I think sparked the loss
When Jason Terry put LB on his butt for NO REASON midway through the second quarter, the Mavs seemed to sense blood in the water. Sure enough, nobody on the Suns stood up for LB. Nobody clocked the thug Terry, and the wimpy Suns were outscored 33-14 going into the locker room.
I guarantee Raja would have gotten himself thrown out taking up for his teammate.

You may be right.
There should have been more fallout from players and coaches. I was amazed that the announcers during the ABC broadcast actually called for a more strict punishment than what was applied.

I thought the same thing
and LB is such a nice guy that he even tapped Terry in the back, as it to say “Take it easy”.
Note to LB: I know you are a nice guy, but you got to show some fire from time to time. Don’t let anyone mess with you because you are hitting shots in their face.

Now that I think about it
I don’t think I’ve ever seen LB get truly angry at all.

Do you think
LB was disappointed that no one took up for him?

I stood up for him!
I yelled at Terry and hurled vulgarities at him through my computer/the internet.

I'm a tad late, but . . .
thank you for sticking up for LB! I didn’t watch the whole game, but then I think I had abandoned the team by the time this must have happened.

Someday Terry is going to get his
I remember in the playoffs some years back Terry and Finley (then with the Spurs) got tangled up, and they called a jump ball. Terry’s hand was on a ball, but not the one with David Stern’s signature, if you know what I mean. Finley is a nice guy like Barbs, and he didn’t retaliate. If memory serves, though, I think Oberto or Horry clocked one of the Mavs.

no problem.
i just thought an SNL-related response to an SNL-related comment would be appropriate.
