Newly acquired Nicole Ohlde will miss 3 to 5 weeks with a broken toe suffered in her final game in Hungary.
The injury will cause her to miss all of the Mercury's training camp and potentially the first 2 to 4 games of the season.

she played for my hometown team, and was one of the best players for us, we really missed her when she got injured! well, this took me by surprise
Once upon a time the Suns got out on the break... and along came Steve sucKerr
however
I think it wasn’t the last game, it happened earlier. maybe the last game of the regular season

Interesting
Do you know what happened? How the injury occurred? Also, how would you describe her play.

well
she was one of the tallest players for the team, and along with Mazzante, they were a real and much-needed help. for the last 10 years, year in and year out, there were basically two great teams in Hungary and a bunch of very bad ones, and one of these is us, but as the financial situation is really bad, we can only afford to sing players for 1-year contracts (and they work very differently than in the NBA), so she has only been here since january…
She was a pretty good scorer and had very good shooting percentages as much as I can remember, and she scored our 2000. point this season. Defensively she was okay, but offense was more of a strength for sure

here are this season's stats
she arrived late in the regular season and she was injured… and in the playoffs, you only have to win 2 games to advance, so that’s why she played in only 17 games:
reg season:
games played: 9
mpg 24.9
ppg 16.4
fg% 72% (!!!!)
ft% 81% (pretty good)
rpg 8.1
spg 1.7
tpg 2.2
bpg 0.7
playoffs
games played: 8
mpg 28.0
ppg 15.0
fg% 57 %
ft% 62 % (what a dropoff)
rpg 7.5
spg 0.9
tpg 3.1
bpg 0.4
her stats were pretty much worse in the playoffs, but the competition was better as well. she was a very good player, I’m sure all fans from my city will miss her
