Ok, sure. There's Shaq's diet. Old news. If anyone hears how many pounds he's dropped versus how many donuts he's passed up then that might be interesting. Maybe he'll tell Oprah?
And yes, the Suns and ADOT have partnered to put out a Phoenix Suns license plate. Since there were already license plates available for the three universities I am not really sure how this is a big deal but I guess with nothing else going on...
Nash is in Hawaii tweeting about his book list and Jason Richardson is flying around visting his family. I guess that's nice.
My point? The month of May is very long in the basketball world when your team isn't in the playoffs.
I would have perfered at least a first round matchup but I am reminded that it's all for the best...

Looooooooong indeed
I thought that, even in our non-contending, Amar’e-less, “abysmal” state, we would have given the Lakers a tougher series than the Jazz did.
But then losing to them in a series would just be too ironic, since we beat them twice in the first round just 2,3 years ago.
And I really think about the Lakers too much. I hope that team just evaporated and we won’t have to hear about them anymore.
Honestly, what do you guys prefer? When there are no news about your team at all? Or when they are winning just enough to keep things mildly interesting while also losing just enough to keep you monumentally frustrated?
With the 14th pick of the 2009 NBA draft, the Pheonix Suns select... 3 million dollars!
Playing is always
better then not playing…
I mean guys, this is entertainment. I know we want our team to win and it is much more fun when they do but if you love the Suns and you enjoy basketball competition then there’s really no question is there?
Also, it is not as if by being a lottery team the Suns are going to benefit. 14th pick vs 18th? Not a huge difference. And the organization has said they are treating this off season like the Suns were a 52 win 6 to 8 seed as opposed to treating as a lottery team.

Always action
I would prefer to see Phoenix play, even if it`s a 0-82 lottery team. And the playoffs, oh… I can’t stand watch other teams like New Orleans or Utah Jazz play. We’re so much better than they are.
We're better than the Mavs also
I want to see a whole season with Amare, Steve, Gentry, and Shaq on the same page before I make a judgement on this group. Add Maynor/Lawson/Clark and subtract Richardson and Barnes, and I will be optimistic for 2009-2010.
Did you see the Nuggets destroy New Orleans by almost sixty points? And Houston ripped the Fakers!
