Three team Shaq trade Idea
This idea is basically just a combination of some of the shaq trade ideas.
It involves Cleavland, New Orleans, and of course Phoenix.
Cleavland gets - Shaquille O'neal
New Orleans gets - Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic
Phoenix gets - Tyson Chandler, other parts to make the salaries mesh
The cavs will get a better compliment to Lebron than Z and Varejao, The hornets get cap relief and phoenix gets basketball value with a couple mil possibly in relief.
Not original by any means but I it gives the suns value, which I prefer. Especially since the Shaq to Cleavland Idea only helped the cavs get better on the court.
As for the hornets in this trade...I'm not really a follower but they do want cap relief and who knows, they might even keep Sasha.
Please feel free to critique this anyway you'd like

Interesting idea for sure
The deal doesn’t work if Chandler is the only one coming to Phx but I believe would work with a few small contracts like Julian Wright (who has potential) and Rasul Butler or some sort of combination of others that total about $4m to $6m.
It saves the Suns less money then doing the deal w/ Cleveland directly but it does get Chandler if you are high on him. The contracts going to the Hornets would be attractive to them for the same money saving reason they are attractive to us.
The big problem is that Chris Paul’s head might explode.
Personally, I am not really sure about Chandler. We don’t have access to his real health status and that is key info. I also don’t love any of the other contracts we would have to take from the Hornets to make the numbers work other then Julian Wright who is cheap and low risk/high reward. Butler? Mo Pete? Even James Posey? Meh although you might be able to talk me into Posey given his history but he is 32 with 3 years left on a pretty big deal and he was not very good last season. That’s a big risk.
Anyway. It is a creative approach

I figured
that Tyson and any other Hornet player in the deal could pose some problems.
I agree there contracts aren’t great and Chandler is somewhat of risk given his health.
I guess it just boils down to how badly the suns want to move shaq and how badly others want him because at the moment, I don’t really agree with many of the options out there

I think this is a great trade for the Suns
First off, I can’t believe I didn’t think about merging the possible trade scenarios, great job Batman.
Here’s a couple versions of the trade via the trade machine:
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=n6rswm
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=nd7o9u
One has us giving up only Shaq, the other has giving up Tucker and Fropez in addition, mainly to clear roster space.
If the training staff can work their magic with Shaq, Grant Hill, Nash after Dallas, Amare’s microfracture, then I see no reason why they shouldn’t pursue Tyson Chandler. He’s in his prime right now, a great defender and very active. Butler and Wright would be good additions to the Suns rotation, as well. I see Wright having a lot of potential in the Suns system, after all he is an energy guy, who played in an uptempo system in college at KU. Butler gives us another shooter, which never hurts.
Cleveland needs to get Shaq or some other big guy who can play down low at whatever cost now, and New Orleans needs to dump salary even more than we do.
This trade is a win-win for all parties, except for CP3. The Suns save some money, and can become contenders again, without taking back any bad contracts.
Imagine the rotation now:
PG: Nash/Dragic
SG: J-Rich (hopefully he can be traded too)/Barbosa
SF: Hill/Butler/Wright(maybe re-sign Barnes)
PF: Amare/Dudley
C: Tyson/Lou
plus draft pick and a free agent
