Ball Don't Lie Mock Draft #14 Pick
This time I went with Clark. You can see the reasons why there.
If I were asked again for another pick I would probably go with James Johnson. Needless to say, Lawson, Clark or Johnson all sound good to me. Tough call but I think I am leaning towards Clark (today).

Think of Earl Clark as a 6-10 Shawn Marion
I’m blown away by his ability to guard Jennings, at his size. Pippen and Rodman were the last 3 & 4s, I can remember, who could reliably guard the 1 spot.
These kind of defensive players, who can guard 4 positions, don’t come around very often, and you have to grab them when you can. putting him at the 3 would cause a lot of problems for other teams ability to either penetrate or shoot from the outside.
And while he’s not an outstanding offensive player, he can shoot and pass, and he is solid if not decent. A Nash style PG will be able to find him his shot in the right place.
Without distorting reality too much (i.e assuming a little maturity out of Amare, and given that he’s untradable) I could see a team built around Amare, Clark, Leandro, and the pg to be named later, as being a contending team in 3 years. We’d need a true 5, or to go back to Mike D’s system of playing a fast and mobile 4 at the center position.
