Amar'e and Leandrinho for Landry, Brooks and T-Mac

This one out there is barbecue hot.

Alright guys, I can't stay long, but I would really dislike if we'd trade one of the only balanced contracts we have.

Plus, I just love the Blur.

Is this one going to happen ?

In that case, I'm pretty sure Nash is out and i't the end of the suns and the beggining of a new WNBA team

re

damn i hope not. Yeah brooks looked great in the playoffs but we are getting nothing, nothing, nothing in that deal. This would be a horrible trade for the suns. Please NO

tmac is done
carl landry is a role player
brooks is little, but showed he was a good point during the playoffs.

This is a pretty terrible deal.

TMac is a joke these days, although the Suns would only be interested in the expiring contract. This trade would be better if it were revisited at the trade deadline.

Agree about T-MAC

But with our medical staff ?

Although he is paid 21$ wich is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay tooo much and besides, we already have overpaid guards.

Would this be the end of Dragic ?

And what about Landry, we already have Dudley ?

that can´t be true

but what if it´s J-Rich and not Barbosa?
The Rockets would still have to give more, but it´d be closer.

nonsense :(

Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."

Dubious Source

The Source for this is Peter Vescey. He is quite the pessimistic sarcastic fellow (ars hole perhaps). I don’t put much stock in what he says, he just likes to stir the pot and insult people.

re;

he is pretty credible, He broke the news that Porter was fired….
How close do the salaries have to match? Houston is giving up about 27 million and phoenix is giving up about 23 million.

I dont know what to say if the suns make this trade. I feel sick

by RGreyslak on Jun 25, 2009 10:14 AM MDT reply actions

No, he didn't

Stan broke the news

Mmmmm ... Guinness

I'm sorta OK with this deal

if the team is in a rebuilding mode. TMAC probably won’t play for a good chunk of next season and then his contract comes off the books. Landry is a solid backup PF, but would probably have to be traded because his skills dublicate Amundson’s. Brooks is a pretty good, young PG would could replace Nash immediately.

In terms of assets, I think it’s ok. In terms of reprecussions, I think it’d be a tough sell. The Rockets get no starting PG in return and the Suns end up with an extra backup PF. That said, Landry and Nash could be packaged in a second trade.

by ninjasocks on Jun 25, 2009 10:15 AM MDT reply actions

Nevermind about Landry

I guess he would be the mediocre starting PF.

There is no way the Suns are this stupid

McGrady is injured and thus his value would be as an expiring contract. BUT AMARE’S CONTRACT IS AN EXPIRING CONTRACT!!! If he opts out, which he will if the Suns don’t sign him to a max extension (which they shouldn’t), then Amare’s contract is essentially an expiring contract.

Thus we would be trading essentially our best backup player and a cheaper expiring contract for an injured player who can’t get out of the first round and demands the ball and an undersized forward and undersized point guards. Can’t we get a cheaper undersized power forward and undersized point guard in the draft with our 4 picks? Perhaps package our second round picks for a late first round pick?

Quite reliable.

It was the same source that came up with the porter firing about a week before anyone said anything of it. Ric Bucher says they tried to do a McGrady for Richardson but the finacial aspects didn’t match.

by ere9517 on Jun 25, 2009 12:23 PM MDT reply actions

That seems to imply that they value Richardson as much as Amare

Sarver would trade all the starters for 2nd-rounders if he could get the cap relief.
