Do you have your own blog? E5 does?
What we think we know about E5 provides a pretty good assessment.
Another prospectus about Earl from Draft Express. HMMM only 6' 8'' without shoes? Let's hope he doesn't forget them on the way to game.
The "experts" seem to the think he is a bit of a headcase, sometimes disappearing for stretches (sound like anyone we know), yet with"freakish" athleticism. A raw product-no different from most newly drafted players.
So-welcome to the NBA Earl Clark, and um, Planet Orange (are we still calling it that?)

On headcases
two thoughts:
1. perhaps playing behing Lou and Dudly will give him some humility and make him work hard.
2. what does “headcase” mean? JC saw that Amare had the potential to stay clean off the court, and — whatever you want to say about his NBA antics — Amare has done amazingly well off-the-court, especially given his background.
Mmmmm ... Guinness
Headcase
I’m not worried so much about trouble on the streets, more like him disappearing in games, having trouble making decisions with the ball in his hands, or sulking on the bench.
He seems pretty self confident, which is good, but he is going to get worked over a whole bunch in practice (Amundson) and certainly when he gets some minutes in the season. A dose or NBA reality never hurt anyone, right? It will be interesting to see how he handles it.
on a sidenote...
i really hope the whole “planet orange” thing is gone next year. those commercials are garbage. so is the whole idea.
i agree
planet orange was a retarded effort at driving away the past(purple)
Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."
An important tid-bit from Bill Simmons on Clark
Question: Have you ever been let down by someone named Earl? Earls are always entertaining in some way. Earl Monroe, Earl Weaver, Earl Campbell, Earl Cureton, Earl Hickey, Earl Boykins, Judge Earl Warren, the Earl of Sandwich … I can’t believe I haven’t named a dog Earl yet.
"The mustard is off the hot dog!"
Yeesh,
Oh boy, my name is a worthy name for a dog.
